Desire x has a dual core 1ghz with just over 700 mb ram (sorry forgot the exact amount). Also, don't expect the u to get jelly bean as it doesn't have the required amount. So the Desire x seems to be a little more kitted out than the u.

its exactly the same spec as the desire x and looks just like it, the desire x has been out for months what are htc playing at? or has gsm arena had the wool pulled over its eyes...

Wait a minute... the original HTC Desire has 1GHz processor, 576 MB RAM, same GPU as Desire C and enough ROM for ICS (250MB system even runs JB)... and yet it was never updated, due to "hardware limitations". I call bull on HTC!!!

well dats another phone down the drain htc wont update it to jelly bean cos it has just 512mb ram htc needs to tone down their ui it takes way too much ram

so they have more money to develop more phones now...
