I am quite surprised to see the BB Z10 Pricing (roomers), as a customer I find it hard to understand their strategy to take on other smartphone manufacturing giants.
Well, I am using BB bold 9700 since last 3 years, I was quite happy but I am now thinking otherwise, reason being blackberry usage is quite expensive, Here in India I am paying 400 Rs/ Month for 2G Internet services, whereas with the other smartphones can use 3G for 250 Rs and 2G for 98 Rs and of course BB 3G service is 900 Rs/ month. Money is important for everyone, I am sure BB can not attract the youngsters with these extra charges. Even if they come up with the most advanced phone in the world Its not going to be too long to find some cheap phone with similar advantages.
So, If BB is going to be successful they are gonna have to target all category of smartphone users not just the business people (just to remind there are more youngsters and middle class people than businessmen around)

Blackberry,
If you want to regain your gory years, listen to your consumer and do not listen to you software engineers. In this era, your engineer just do what needs to be done to fulfill consumer needs. It's not like the old days where you present your ideas to consumer and we just accept them, that was because we have not much choices. Look at the other successful smartphone manufacturers now, they succeed because they listen. Your ideas of narrow keyboard phones are not what we want nowadays. Some idiots out there may not agree to my comments here.

Remember, when XDA developers starts getting their fingers into your OS, that will be the time when you have tothink there is some idea shortage in you OS. The moment they do that, there are something wrong with your OS, so, be sure that your OS is what "WE" as your consumer wants.

What we want is quite simple, I am very confident BLACKBERRY can easily accommodate to them, they are:-

1. Choices in phone size
- Do not stick to 1 phone size. Your phone size should be small, medium and large.
2. Smooth OS.
- As your consumer, we only want the planet's most stable mobile OS. Your engineer, programmer etc plays the vital part on this. Sack unwanted engineers who does not perform on their task. There is no point in keeping them, there are lost of good ones out there.

3. Convenience of customization
- Be it icon, layout or colours set up. We want customization and we don't want to be restricted

GOOD LUCK
