The debate wil be in its competence with the other existing and upcoming ecosystems. At the original iPhone's launch, Apple had innovations giving it bragging rights of direct comparison with the competition like Palm & RIM which is evident from their keynotes. But it cant risk comparison now as in recent launches as it lacks innovation. iOS though not broken needs modernisation. The public is now accustomed to tech savvy Androids that they prefer the simple iPhone only for the sake of apps (which Android is soon gona overtake because of Apple's restrictions). I think they require a fresh start and a new approach to iPhone innovation over refinements if they actually want to expand , else they can easily continue with their existing user base which may slowly shrink..

haha really apple? its not like a 13mp camera is something new...Sony already put that stuff in there phones and your still lacking the Exmor R inside and the clarity of the Bravia Engine 2.

well if your looking to buy the iphone 5s in order to unlock it your screwed because the u.s just passed a law making cellphone unlocking illegal and what is the point on releasing the Iphone 5 if a few months later your going to add 2 more things and call it the Iphone 5s!

Apple stop making people buy crap. If you wanna compete with good phones like Sony and Samsung that are making great changes to technology. Start by making your apps cheaper or free and getting ahead of the game. Try projecting keyboard, holographic screens, dual SIM phones, water proof phone.

And then we will think about putting you up there with Sony's new line and Samsung.

Oh man... Again a new iPhone??? Well even last years launched lumia 920 , gs3 are much better than iPhone5 ... and even better than iPhone 5s too... Crap... Apple everytime launches same phone with just a modification..

iphone 5 was already perfect and the best camera and everything of all phones, but, ok bring iphne5s that will be better than galaxy4 and 5 for that mater.

Iphone is trying to copy upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4. But galaxy model is much better. Seems Apple is launching more phones in order not to loose the market. Now Android is the KING for next 5 years.

People saying that some people not able to buy an Apple product is not simply about having enpough cash its also about the limitations I have an ipad3 and a samsung galaxy gio and find having a tablet and not being able to Bluetooth between my phone and tablet quite difficult but it wouldnt have been a problem had I gone for an Android tablet would it. For some having to use itunes is a chore.
