BlackBerry Z10 to cost £480 SIM-free, leak confirms

I just can't see anything about BB10 or the hardware that offers any practical benefits over OS6 which I currently use on my Torch 9800 and does all that is necessary. The last time Rim did a virtual keyboard was on the Storm, and it was utterly hopeless.
If anyone know of any real practical benefits, please do post and I will reply. (silence now ensues)

I'm not a sammy Fan but the glaxy s3 is the benchmark for phones if your on par or better it means your phone is good only then can you justify price.
So why would anyone pay 480 pounds for an inferior product when they can get a superior product with better features and better os for 385 pounds.
I'm sorry this is a big fail I'd rather get a Xperia z or a HTC m7 or A galaxy s4.
for me this year it's xperia z due to styling.

Granted the price is not competitive; however the discount section is blank. Hopefully RIM will insert a discount figure that leads to better pricing.

TFE - Too F-word Expensive. It's plain ridiculous thinking they'll get market share like that. Unless they drop the price 150GBP right away RIM shall be RIP as already said in the comments

mm obsolete phone and very expensive!. Better buy an android device. As iphone5 is old now, apple will release iphone 5s, so do not buy apple now. Move to samsung galaxy s3, or s4

i'm a university student living in Jamaica, where bb's are extremely popular among our younger demographic, but unlike foreign nations, 99% of cellphones are purchased outright, as network providers here do not offer subsidies similar to the ones abroad, but at a price of US$760, i guarantee that bb10 will fail here in Jamaica as android superphones such as the s3 can be purchased for considerably less.

Big mistake if it is that high. With the IP5S coming out and the Soon Samsung S4, i guess it is safe to say that BB will not sell a lot of those Z10 unless they will go the playbook way...which is start high and then eventually put a such low price that people will get one just for kicks.
