> In reply to Killer Droid @ 2013-01-28 14:01 from QGtq - click to readCan you really observe any fraction of a second difference while launching apps practically???
There might be slight differences, but that does not matter practically.
A decent performance, enough power to play HD games flawlessly, smooth browsing, good camera, full set of connectivities.. these are the main things that is needed. World is not going to end within the (very very small) fraction of time an application is opening.

No one is going to use a smartphone to render professional movies (atleast in the near future).
Why care for extra power that is not at all required?
Today's smartphones already have enough juice to run through any task that a mobile is suppose to do.
But yeah, you can bump up unnnecessary specifications
as marketting gimmick.

Oops!!! written too long... :)

I wouldn't say Samsung is the first smartphone with the 1080p display, since Sony already launched it with it's Xperia Z. It could be considered the second smartphone...

There are no unbreakable things, unless its diamond(lol) or borazon(yet another lol).

Buying Xperia Z soon, no matter what Samsung are preparing, it's already usless, since it cannot deliver anything much more than the S4 Pro does.

i suggest to samsung and huawei to take directly a 26" lcd tv and put on it gsm module, camera, all-in-one pc components, wifi, internet and on the back of this new phablet, hook a big solid handle like trucks' doors have, and get ready with this stuff

Until now, the SIV is non-existant so it's impossible to make comparisons

...hopefully SIV will feature Infra red port as it would be a nice functinality to control all your (and your friends) device from a single unit...
