I moved on with many other devices including galaxy series and I gave my iPhone to my sister. Both iPhone and iPod touch lags now. If I try to use 2-3 heavy apps then it freezes for a while and it goes to safe mode. When I am on heavy surfing and suddenly I get viber call then I can't receive it and it goes to safe mode when I receive it. I know they're old devices but it used to work well before. Now I think apple has no charm like before (at least for me) and I know I am not the only one.

Most updates on API side, and fix bugs

Apps is what makes an iphone a iphone.

If developers have access to new API, they can make better apps.. and in turn benefit end users..

But thinking back .. iOS6 - 6.0.1 is kinda disappointing.. lose stock youtube/google map .. wifi issues etc etc... hope they improve with 6.1 onwards.

IOS updates are worse because all the updates are same.. Only minor changes are seen which is hardly noticeable by end users.. My iPhone 3gs started to lag after IOS 5 update. So there's no quality in Apple updates.. They degrade the performance with same boring OS and Ui..

Samsung updates are far better. Each update for s3 is likely to wow the end users. Premium suite upgrade brought many features like multi - Window..samsung gives those features to their customers which did not exist before (when the end user unboxed the device) unlike apple who was greedy enough not to provide siri for iPhone 4 and lower.

Samsung add features to existing phones whereas apple add a phone to existing features.

And frankly i tell u, iphone 5 (LTE) with weaken state of 6.0.1 trashes S3 (non LTE) version. - Both phones setup as daily phones, with all apps installed.

Now with 6.1 (still testing standby battery..) i wouldn't compare S3 anymore.. battery should now be compared to Note 2 (4.1.2)

Note 2 is flexible interms of sharing but loads of disadvanteges too mainly the battery is draining soo fast due to widgets and ithe fone is getting laggy day by day.. Waiting for an update to fasten my fone. Ipad mini is one awesome divice, it is very limited compared with note2 but watever it has of optimum quality. Manily no lagging at all. I use to play HD games alot, its totally lag free. Responds so fast. Androids says alot on papers but user exepriance is totally different. My fone lags big time. Evn after i clear the ram, it stil gets hang. Its beem routine now that i need to restart my mobile every other day same like my BB 9900.

Hey guys,
Pls stop with this pointless war. Ihave Android (galaxy s2) and iOS(ipad4),
This is like cars, bmw,mercedes?
Each of u shoul find out which system suits him better.. Both systems have possitives and negatives.
my personal opinion is that iOS is better because is smoother and apple gives u real 100%support. Update after update worldwide.
i am in love with my Galaxy but ... No support at all and the system has a lot of bugs.
However the best is to have both OS.

ip4s updated to ios 6.1 noticed that set lock screen pic cannot be viewed..
