> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-07-09 08:02 from xxRf - click to read It is probably a misstake. BlackBerry Thunder seems to be built on the basis of BlackBerry Bold.
And if remember well, the Bold has 2,6" screen. In this way, BB Thunder has a screen of 3,5".

I have verizon, which the thunder is rumored to come too.
so as of right now i have the voyager, which i love.

but as for my next phone i am stuck between 3 new touch screen phones.

the dare, the diamond, and the thunder.

however, the fact that the thunder only has a 2.5 inch screen.
almost makes my deicsion for me.

i hate small screens.

it should have been 3.2 and up.
to compete with the iphone at least.

Ha! A 2.5" Display What Are They Thinking, Thats Tiny For An Almost 100% UI Phone. "UI Blackberry OS" LOL They Can't Even Get Their Regular Smartphone OS to Work! How Do They Expect To Get AN UI Touch One Working Reliably. All I Can Say Is, Thunder I Hope Your Really For A Slaughtering By The iPhone 3G!

Nokia can not have 10 mpx camera sensor. Nokia does not produce camera sensors. The company buys them instead. Nokia buys camerasensors from STM Microelectronics and Aptina Imaging.
None of these have commercial prototypes of 10 mpx camera sensors. 9 mpx resolution is however, available.

Nokia can not have 80 GB memory. Why ? 80 GB is very usual for hard drives (HDD). HDD are not going to be used in phones anymore. SSD (Solid State Drive) or memory cards have replaced them.
And flash drives are based on binary numeral system.
2MB, 4MB, ..., 64MB, 128MB,..., 2GB, ..., 16 GB, 32 GB, 64GB and so on...
You could have 80 GB (64 + 16), but it would not be priceworthy...

Symbian and Windows Mobile are 2 different mobile platforms. It is not likely that they both are ever going to be one single and same device.
Windows 7 is not yet available. AT ALL ! And Windows Mobile 7 must have a touchscreen...

I feel sorry about you, little guy ;)

anything with a touch screen can be a iphone killer; Iphone has just a big nice screen and no features that I need (except gps and internet)

if you're going to get the BOLD, behold.
the JAVELIN is coming soon, and is rumored to be a replacement of the Curve.
specs are similar to the Bold, but without 3G, but upgraded 3.2mp camera.

2.5 display? On a full touchscreen phone? LOL. My Touch Diamond's screen is larger at 2.8, yet I'm already using its stylus like 40% of the time. How much more on a 2.5 display? I'd wait for the Meizu MiniOne.
