hmmm. interesting. the 2.5" screen isn't too impressive though, i must say. why not make it bigger? And i wonder what they're going to do with the inseparable qwerty keyboard of theirs. accelerometer, anyone?

And I agree, just because it has a touch screen doesn't make it an iphone-killer? Considering pretty much anything has been an iphone killer when it comes to people who know about phones and don't just follow hype. Iphone was dead to a alot of people a loooooooooooooooooooong time ago. All it had was a good browser, that really is it.

The biggest thing with Blackberry was their push email function but pretty much any other windows mobile phone can do that now as I can attest with my HTC touch cruise.

So why all the fuss because blackberry finally caught up to where HTC, ASUS, Imate and everyone else has been for over a year now?

Sorry, but the IPhone is simply tripe and already rendered obsolotete, I really don't see what al the fuss is about. As for this, an IPhone killer? This is more like the 'real thing' and flagship of all smartphone hysteria. I don't even ackowledge the IPhone at all, all hype, no substance. If this is reliable, then I'd wager it's gonna be aiming for the HTC Diamond and SE XPERIA as well as Nokia Tube.

unfortunately, it won't have an 8MP camera, i'll at the most 3.15MP
i mean, look at iPhone, it only has a 2MP camera and not even flash nor auto-focus, these category of devices are not focused on the camera (sadly)

I agree 2.5" is too small to be realistic. But I'd be really interested if it was that small.
If it's actually 3.5", then I think it'd be too big; would probably be a lot bigger than the iPhone, which is a turn-off for me since I think the iPhone is huge.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-07-08 14:10 from 2CJa - click to readHonestly not every damn touch screen phone is an iphone imitation, theres only so much you can change with a phone when it comes to being touch screen. Basically its a big screen. Not much to work with except where you put the buttons which are normally placed where it would be most efficient.

The camera is not the focus of this phone :S its simply to try imitate the iphone and hope people buy it. It will never be as good as the iphone, cuz apple make mac, apple made itunes and apple know how to market their products. This will be a flop... goodbye black berry
