> In reply to shad123 @ 2013-01-29 10:55 from 3Ccf - click to readi don't think so... People are getting wiser nowadays. It's not really about the design anymore, it's about phone functionality, practicality and the phone's software/hardware's ability to meet the needs of its user. What would you do with an attractively built phone but then you are being limited by its functions? =) Samsung caters to different kinds of people. I and most of the people I know actually admire Samsung for considering the masses' budget.

> In reply to gilbs @ 2013-01-29 11:32 from wMHH - click to readI would say the design is more functional than others but it's a genuine Samsung device and not copied from Apple, i wouldn't want it any other way. I have always been very clear on that point, if someone tried to make me by a Samsung before i would say that i don't like Apple so why should i like apple copies. I have note2 now and like it's genuine samsung design. I feel sorry for S2 owners who get reminded of dirty iPhone everyone they see their own phone, it would be like walking around with a stinky turd in the pocket.

Functional design. Large screen. Minimal bezel. Thin profile. Lightweight material. Everything I need is here. Everything I don't need isn't there. Unlike other brands which need to focus on the design--and you end up having too much in your pocket you don't need.
I know it will get better with the flexible OLED - probably gonna lose the bezel altogether with semi-wraparound screen.

Samsung is just wasting natural resources by manufacturing huge amounts of shit and flooding the planet with phones. Companies should take some rest and change their attitude. They are just running after money. These companies are looting the public like anything. Chip manufactures have good tie ups to sell their processors at exorbiant prices. They are creating confusion among people with their naming conventions of the phone. I think their are 200 varities of Galaxy, iphone and Xperia etc. phones out there. If this was not enough then came the tablets from Rs.4000 to Rs. 45000. Now you see W8 tablets going beyond Rs. 80000-Rs100000.. Where would common people go? What is this happening? They are creating atmosphere where people are shedding there hard earned money for these things. every 6-8 months a successor comes to the old model. People are tempted to purchase. This is just ridiculus. Please put a hold on this if not stop...
