You're right, there are still some who don't use protective casing (and my classmate dropped hers, cracked the LCD... and replacing it will cost nearly half of the price of the phone...), so this isn't a totally pointless endeavor.

Everything new (and innovative) is important.but mostly we hope that Samsung will gonna do the best and even more!, because the competition is to the extreme, to produce the greatest smartphone ever in al the aspects! (The galaxy s4)

compare Samsung and apple. one introduces a new phone everyday with the same design. another introduces its phones once a year and again with same designs. both are getting boring. they just want to fool people.

Not a bad idea, but it is seasonal and depends upon public choice.
It will be forgotten as soon as the notion goes out of the season. Makers must ensure to add a few enhancements while doing so.
