Why would the customers care so much about the companies profits?
They make profits?
Good for them! What does this has to do with my needs?
Why do we have to take an update of their profits every couple of days?
Sales could be remotely interesting for the seep customers who want to be buy what others got, because they cant decide for themselves, but profits are completely irrelevant from the customer POV...
(unless you are interested to see who sells the most overpriced devices)

Samsung's had a good run but simply unsustainable. The reason is that even though they have quite good products, at the same time their rivals like Nokia Sony and Blackberry were simply having a bad run. Now that these guys are all coming back strong, Samsung is just simply going to have a tougher year, regardless of how great the SGS4 is.

Apple has just 1 phone in a year. That means, a brand a really good name! Therefor he sells all the new iphones to current iphone users who are just waiting to upgrade... Samsung got new Users, and is getting bigger and bigger ;)

Samsung phones use parts that are build in Korea, and are assembled in China...
Same for LG (at least most of the parts)
But Apple, yeah... you know... well! Apples ;)

and where do you think other phones are made? Mars, Pluto, Moon?
Every phone is made in China, Korea or Japan because of cheap labor.
If it is made in China that doesn't mean its bad. Its easy and cheap to produce and and the profits are higher. tell me one company that doesn't want high profits?
And I think this information is a let down for Samsung because They have around 10 phones per year on the market while Apple has in 4 years 4. Still, i don't get why people buy iphone. Every kid has an iphone... for what? they need nokia 101 so they can call parents and sent text if needed.
