I've just got an email, hope all of you happy to hear this:
The Jellybean update for GALAXY ACE 2 will be progressively released in near future, we do offer our sincere apologies for inconvenience caused by the post at Samsung Ukraine Website.
We will keep our fans updated when the software ready available at KIES or OTA update.
Samsung HQ is not Samsung Ukraine, and in another sense update schedule could still change, and said if the update GALAXY Ace 2 will progressively release in the near future, one conclusion that I take, but it could be true and it could be wrong, Jelly Bean scheduled by Samsung Ukraine may be just for their region, and will be different in other areas.

I my opinion this is just a joke, I know they have other phones to work on and support.. but they have been promising an update since December... I ran on the supernexus 4.1.2 build which was more stable than the 4.1.2 beta (Samsung developed firmware)

Yup, that's another example of the difference between Apple and the rest. You get the latest iOS the very next day, if you made the mistake to buy a Samsung in this case, you receive the latest (stolen)OS the very next year...if you are lucky.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-02-02 21:21 from sX8Y - click to readWhy? Is there a software, that you need, but cannot run on ICS or GB? Since GB Android does more or less everything a smartphone should be able to do.

> In reply to edison9899 @ 2013-02-02 18:43 from wr2p - click to readSamsung have been holding onto the Jelly Bean update for months now.
Now they'll release it for the SGS2 and claim that they've given it updated for two years.
So much for the phone being future proof.
