> In reply to saeed @ 2013-02-06 00:01 from JyYN - click to readdownload and install the latest version of Sony PC Compnaion software on ur PC and then connect ur phone to ur PC and try to update it via ur PC but if it said there is no update available or u have the latest version or sth similar then u might not have the international version of Xperia T but u can always install the official Sony Jelly Bean rom for xperia T , if u couldnt install the update or if ur xperia T wasnt the international version and if u wanted to install the JB rom manually then email me .

i got my update with the international Xperia T and i live in Iran if it makes any diff , i never scored more than 10900 on antutu but now i can score 11800 ! i guess its sth with the new 3.4 Linux Kernel , faster responses , very quick uninstallation of apps ! beautifull beautifuul interface and some awesome wallpapers , Sony i cant thank u enough , when u give us an update u acctually make us feel the diff , unlike other brands .

If you update to ICS, don't think of installing facebook, what's app, line or other software, will be extremely lag. So don't blame why Sony don't let this phone go further. Unlock your bootloader and install customized Rom.

Got the update on my international version lt30p. I'm in the US. Definitely seems considerably faster and smoother through transitions, opening and closing apps. Max camera resolution reduced from 13MP to 12MP. Picture quality, however, appears improved, as is the auto scene recognition. Haven't used enough to report on battery life. No gripes so far.

Hi could you please provide more details to fellow XPERIA T users till we get this update, what changes do you notice besides the usual jelly bean changes, anything new like extra home screens..... sending contacts via sms added or not ? How about performance? more ram available ?
Thanks.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-02-04 14:49 from x3cp - click to readI take no bias between the two brands. But I do commend Samsung for releasing, at the very minimum, a STABLE OS for their phones. Something (most) Sony Ericsson phones from 2011 do not have.
Go on Sony Mobile forums RIGHT NOW and see the comments that are being placed on there regarding the ICS updates. On a daily basis are a complaints about the performance and constant requests for bug fixes. I own an Arc S myself. As someone who purchased this phone (ie, gave Sony Ericsson my hard-earned money), I think we all deserve to be at least given a stable release that we've been denied. Myself; I'm currently on the stock GB OS and I doubt I'll be updating this device any time soon.
You tell me what model phone you have and the chances are I'll be able to shut you down immediately as ALL 2011 Xperias have ICS issues.
And mind you. There's no point in updating their entire 2011 range (I know Samsung didn't) if all of them turn out to be laggy like no tomorrow. Seriously.
