> In reply to Alfredinho @ 2013-02-04 15:36 from LEU7 - click to readtrue! that was my case last 2 updates for my xperia P. just set PCC to auto-open (i think it's like this) whenever your phone connects. it pops up then you can read whether an update is available or you're up to date. then you can close the PCC.

The official announcement from Sony for update is March thru April. These is just an advance release. The rumored Christmas update for Xperia t is not official from Sony. While some brand announce almost weekly to have an update and yet it's postponed, just to keep the hype. I have to say sony wI'll have all the planned update in time or maybe earlier than expected. SONY FTW.

my xperia from 2011 works fine with ICS, I dont notice any bugs (and I don't use my phone like once in 2 days!)
you are complaining about Sony's ICS update on 2011 series? okay, did Sams#it even updated entire 2011 lineup to ICS?
and still if you are not satisfied with your xperia ICS then you can very easily put cynogen on it, xperia being developer friendly (UNLIKE SAMMY)

Wow samsung fan can be so much frustrating!

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-02-04 12:44 from vmy$ - click to readi see. before my xperia P, i used to have xperia ray as my main phone, i updated it to ICS and i have yet to experience any problems with it. although i really hope i wouldn't experience one. lol. i was hesitant because GB was really good but because of the influence of xperia P, i updated it yielding to great results.

bought xperia P with ICS out of the box and i thought i bought a bad phone (bad battery life, laggy sometimes, cam bug) but after 2 updates, it became a very good phone already. from 8-12 hours of use to 20-36 hours of use depending on my usage.

sooo based on the updates i received on the two phones, sony isn't that bad. i would prefer occasional but huge updates rather than frequent bug fixes. and i agree with you, instead of asking JB, i'd rather have a very smooth ICS experience although a very smooth JB would be better. lol
