updated to 4.1.2 on Xperia V, SOD still occurs. might be WiFi issue, cause today had my Wifi on instead of LTE and had the SOD twice.

Hello from Greece.
Its three days now that I've got the update!
I can't say that phone its better now.
I've seen some bugs.. First day, I move the device from charger and I put it on my desk.. Screen never came blank(off) it was on for two hours and my battery from 100% went 50%! Also I see some bugs in simple use of the phone, such as in UI, sometimes need to tap twice a folder for open.. Not so good work on jelly been for xperia v!
I'm a fan of xperia phones, but I really need something better, even if that needs to be higher priced!!!

After updating my Xperia V to Jelly Bean (9.1.A.0.490), I have been experiencing some bugs with the Walkman app.

1. At times when the phone is on standby, the next track takes too long to play. There are times that it doesn't play until I wake up the phone.

2. When playing music with headphones plugged in, audio sometimes sounds very soft at first then quickly increases in volume. The increase in volume is not gradual.

3. When skipping a track, the album art flashes. Some noticeable lags during music playback.

Recieved 4.1.2 OTA update yesterday for Xperia V in Singapore. So far, OK but some apps needs reinstalling.

I have just loaded the Jelly Bean ROM onto my Xperia V's (3) all on different networks. Rougly the same LTE speed from the same location. Google now works well. UI slightly different, but not a huge leap from ICS.

Happy with it.

Anyway it is really ok to buy in stores outside by authorized sony as long as you check very carefuly and talk to them and know what's the waranty coverd. About the update, when sony release ics I didnt get any problem in updating it. I thnk it is not country based in sony phone.

they said that i dont think so will do it.as some old phones cant upgrade anymore.cant use them and u got put in rubbish them as go crash,not working

No my friend, I`m working in KSA, I did not receive the ICS updtae to my Sola, last udpate I`ve got through SUS is (2.3.7\6.0.B.3.184).
