HTC to offer new sound and camera experience in 2013 - read the full textIn a nice little infographic it created earlier today, HTC is promising to bring "a new sound and camera experience in 2013". All eyes are naturally turning to the upcoming M7 1080p flagship. This aligns nicely with yesterday's rumors of the M7 featuring a new type of stacked image sensor with ...

I hope this will have a better camera than Nokia EOS because Android is far better on a cameraphone than Microsfts WP8!

WUT? 2006 is the year on which K750 and K800 trumped all camera phones in image quality, and guess what HTC is still lurking on VGA and 1.3MP cameras at this time. I wonder what they're smoking at with their claims.. such Pure BS

No need new sound or camera experience.. both are decent enough.

We need new battery experience.

I agree that sales doesn't mean it's better. I was saying that I think a performance award is more meaningful than a design award.

The hardware and specs are nearly identical. Processor, LTE, Camera, good memory, ETC...

Literal hardware is equal on the screen (gorilla glass 2). And the 920 is more solid, yes, but also much heavier... which is why I said I still prefer the lighter Samsung as long as it has a good case... and yes 'cuz it's Android...

yes plenty of people use audiophile headphones
cos were BALLER!
and phones could do with some amplification
but the camera upgrade in more interesting
8 megapixels is plenty but a phone still cant produce as good an image as a digital camera
i agree with JUDABNE the battery is the biggest let down with any phone
we need to start seeing 3000+mAh or chips that use way less power

If you compare the Hardware then 920 hands down but what will make me say sgs3 is better is cos Android is more mature than wp8.

I guess they should offer a new battery experience.
I love HTC phones. My first phone was a TyTN II and I'm typing this comment from an EVO 3d. I like the experience but the battery is disappointing.
I know this is a problem in many smartphones yet HTC is known for it. Some maker should consider battery life a priority

> In reply to Ludovic From France @ 2013-02-05 22:41 from pgtN - click to readA phone's designed for playing music when out and about, often using headphones with which it's near impossible to tell the difference (seriously, do you take audiophile headphones around with you? I'd be worried about breaking them or having them stolen).

If you're inside, just use your computer/hifi/etc, with whatever DACs and amplifiers you want.

knowing HTC, they will still ruin it and to rectify the mistake they will launch another over priced phone to convince customers to pay more just like they did to one x and then launched the One x+ soon after instead of fixing the issues in one x itself.

As an audiophile I can't listen to music on a phone, the sound quality is too awfull, except if you are using another DAC linked to it.

Maybe, one day, we will see phones with quality DAC and amplifications...

But, I'm sure it won't be HTC because they sucks :)

> In reply to Abdul9 @ 2013-02-05 20:41 from nb%d - click to readIf you read both of my posts, you would see that my argument is that design matters very little... like 5-10% for me... I'm saying it wins overall, which is what matters to me. I hate materialism. I like real-world performance. That said, i do like the 920, I just like the S3 more. Simple.
