It's google who made samsung what they are right now, now that google owns Motorola,i bet if they decide to go only with motorola, Samsung is the first one to go down coz both HTC and Nokia are preferred partners with MS WP8, nobody would go to samsung to buy WP8 device and without android they will become what they were in 2008. If you want to say about apps look at Nokia Drive, Maps, Nokia's own store for apps, Nokia Music, iTunes store, Siri etc. those are proprietary apps/stores which make sense, just adding an S won't make sense to the app.......let alone @ being smart......

Such as the SII that just about got broken in it's ICS update, right around the time the S3 got launched. And much like apple users, the flock herded over to the S3. Instead of more logically go for a better device.

Let's just hope for their sake the S3 doesn't get broken in a update now that the S4 comes along. . . It's already got enough problems with it's laggy launcher, bad build quality of the housing, cartoon color-calibration and dim display.

I'd love to see Samsung build a great and sturdy housing from proper materials, making a bright screen with proper (meanning realistic) color calibration, a smoot launcher with their own usefull and good looking widgets and a large enough battery to support the device. But I doubt the S4 will meet a single one of those criterias.

Chinese, Indian and Filipino phones running android actually run smoother launchers. And also offer their own apps, not just rebranded Android beam, google voice etc.

If you want metal, or somethng better, you should go for Motorola. Either the current RAZR HD (MAXX) or wait for the upcoming Motorla X(-phone) with Android 5 Key Lime Pie. Which will also most likely feature a 13MP Sony Exmor RS sensor. Since you're interested in the camera bit as well.

Hello,

1. It still won't beat nokia 808 or future wp8 device with same camera. galaxy camera has 16 and doesn't beat 808.
2. That number of cores is good only for android. i am not saying that android is bad but iphone achieved same or better performance with lower specs processor.
3. That's true
4. I don't see a reason for a user to buy a phone with specs that no app needs. As long as you perfectly run apps on S3, why change?
