Rumored 41 MP EOS from Nokia might be named as Lumia 1000 - read the full textAs reported earlier, Nokia is working on a Lumia range smartphone with a 41-megapixel camera sensor. The rumored smartphone might well be called the Lumia 1000, which was spotted on a registration page at China Mobile. Nokia Lumia 1000 was previously rumored to carry the EOS name, though it's...

I don't care how they do it, if there is going to be a phone with a camera that does so good and has a fresh os i will buy it - it is that simple, please just take a look on flickr for photos shot with a nokia 808... just try it

I hope Nokia would now come up with better camera sensor and Xenon flash which would make its camera undisputed champion in smartphones.
And yes, everyone would expected some other new features good luck Nokia

its good that nokia is capturing all wp market just like sammy captured android by releasing the smartphone in every segment from low end to mid range to high end... still wp needs much more to give direct competition to android n that is a difficult task but not impossible... but since android is improving day by day n has a large army of customers so it is much much difficult for nokia to regain their earlier position... after looking pureview 808, i can say this device can do a lot wid wp8 inside... good luck nokia u r still best in terms of customer satisfaction...

> In reply to Deed @ 2013-02-08 14:40 from t7Xi - click to readyou got it wrong mate. more people now own a dedicated cams/ DSLR thinking that they might as well consider themselves as photographers which is really non-sense. yeah really, why do other people have to bring those bulky things and tie it in their necks the whole day (which is freakingly annoying) where they could use an impressive cameraphone such as L920 and 808PV as alternatives?

and really that's the point of having such device, to serve as an alternative for those bulky cams.

Wow. As usual, Nokia news and rumours send Android fan boys into overdrive. They're so easily threatened.

For the record, I have a Lumia 920 as a personal phone, iphone 4s for work, and a Nexus 7 tablet. Android 4.2 is nowhere close to the other 2 OS's. Lag lag crash at least 2 - 5 times a week. Compared to 1 crash in 1.5 years for the iphone and no crashes ever on the lumia.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-02-08 14:14 from 6%2{ - click to readI don't mean to bash or prove wrong your view of cameras on phones, but really, it may seem quite more logical and convenient to bring around a phone with a camera, rather than just a dedicated camera. You see, the type of people who bring around a dedicated cam are those who are serious photographers. Many people don't really care much about super high-quality photos. Decent would do, and as long as they can take a snapshot of their interest. But if a really good camera can be put on a phone, then, how can that be an issue? It's good, imho. And it would be so convenient to bring two things in one rather than two separate things, that is, in this case, a phone with a good camera. Aand, I do think that more people own phones than dedicated cams. just my thought. :)

Who need this cheap plastic with 41MP?
We need more internal storage and better CPU\GPU + DDR3 RAM.
Nokia is one of the cheapest brand i ever seen their flagship phone only for 349$ off contract in US!

I love Nokia. But IT can't regain the No1 position solely with Windows! What do you say Guys?
One reason to support my opinion: Windows is a restricted Os. I mean you should obey it's orders. You can't mould it as per your requirements!

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-02-08 13:57 from 6%2{ - click to readLOL. Microsoft develops the software and the OS.
Nokia only customize it.
Their job is to make better hardware and make these hardware compatible with WP8 OS.
No need to get jealous of others getting super great camera phone that is not available on idevices or Android devices.
You afriad that OS is gonna breakthrough soon?
Oh Mr.Fandroid or mr. ifan?. XD
