What's the rare thing with that?
The reason why they wont sell in ilbon ssi is because ilbon saram or japanese people are smart enough to determine the what kind of phone is blackberry!
And their technology is 3x advance than dat phone!
And the operating system is lack of professionality lack of design, lack of aesthetics, dull frameworks and u cant get productivity because lack of developers of apps and games because the frmework of phone is not good! thats why apps and games and ui of that phone is ugly!
Then u wuld say that it can run iphone and android apps!? Its a joke!
U will convert that in order for u to run it and u cant cnvert all apps!
I go for android or iphone!

"The target people is like CEO, CTO, COO, Chairman, Senior VP, VP..."
so.. one of the most industrialized countries in the world, where there are thousands, even hundreds of thousands CEOs, CTOs, COOs.. and corporate owners... do NOT buy Blackberry...
mm not quite a clever statement there
corporate leaders love entertainment, they are quite happy with pretty UIs and with casual games like angry-birds, and YET, i agree with you in one point: is that boring view of the world what doomed blackberry, and sadly nokia is stepping very close

they wont end up like nokia bro , they will probably take away nokia and windows phone 8 as there competition but will take ages to reach i os and i phones or samsungs with android . and have u seen the apps and games the z10 and bb10 gonna get if the rumors are true they are going to release games like dead trigger and shadowgun which are 3d hungry games and those are only available for android and i os at the moment , and windows phone 8 users still dream about such games in there lumias . so as you have mentioned games probably bb 10 will get best games out there and windows phone 8 will be shamed to see it coming . think about it twice .

BlackBerry Z10 is not for everyone but for corporate use. The target people is like CEO, CTO, COO, Chairman, Senior VP, VP...

The phone is focusing less on games, entertainment.....

So it is very boring phone with those complex U/I.
I anticipate it will end up the fate like NOKIA.

this is awesome news!, that company makes one of the worst devices, closely followed by apple, and is funny because the hardware in them is not bad at all, is the architecture they use in combination with their closed minds (software).. is funny that while they leave from japan, they are still strong in underdeveloped countries like Colombia, here blackberry is sadly quite popular, and if you don't have one, sometimes you are rejected, which is quite stupid, all hail to the open and lovely fragmented (i love to be able to chose what i want and how i want it) architecture, other companies are still forcing their costumers buy what the company wants, not what the user really needs...

FYI, japanese don't need blackberry.
they're smart, they use e-mail.

that's what smart people do, use e-mail, which is more common, open, and versatile, don't need special device, special pin number, or ridiculous monthly fee.

When Google announced that they dont have plan to develop apps for WP8 because there are not enough users, everyone just praised, Hail Google Hail..
And when someone else decides something somehow similar, it suddenly because the "blunder".
Google fans, What to name it? Antitrust?? Politics?? Obsession?? Blind fanboyism?

Why do I get the feeling that that particular Thorsten Heinz photo will be an internet meme soon?

On topic, probably smart move. As if competition from Samsung and Apple aren't bad enough, Sony is really taking care of it's home market with phones not available anywhere else. Older, cheaper phones that could stand toe to toe against the Z10 spec-wise.
