As long as you can get one direct from ebay at their price then it's very difficult to argue with the value for money. My personal experience is that the Galaxy S3 is generally a better handsetbut is it £150-£200 better? It's all opinion really.

I wish I could buy one for my partner. Anyone knows about stock availability within the USA?

I've got mine yesterday, delivered by UPS Ease.
My first impressions: It's large and thin, also feels light. Upon first boot the battery was at almost 100% charged. As soon as I turned my SIM card into a Mini-SIM, it wanted to upgrade to Android 4.2.1 and it did very quickly. The touch screen is very nice and smooth to the touch. I plugged it into my PC and uploaded some custom wallpapers and ring-tones, Imported my contact list from the SIM card. Setup wifi for my home router. Made a few calls and I noticed the sound clarity is much better than on any other prev phones I had. I have a partial hearing loss, but this one sounds clear to me. The power button is kind of small and annoying to find. I've yet o test the camera. No headphones in the box, only the travel charger and SIM-key. Will take some time to get used to it, but so far I am in love.

The one million sale must been the entire stock of nexus 4. Google really failed on advertising and keeping up with demand.

Can't wait for the next nexus hope it has the same price with high end hardware inside
