Rs 15000 is very cheap for a good smartphone. But Rs 15000 is costly for a chinese/indian phone with zero after sales support. If canvasHD is priced Rs12000 then we will have a serious competition with the likes of Samsung dual sim phones. Moreover i believe it is Micromax that makes this phone pricey, if the same exact phone comes with a chinese name it will cost about Rs. 10000.

On paper this is a good phone, but current experience with canvas 2 is very bad. Touchscreen doesn't work while charging with the charger or through usb from the computer. Better buy a bit costlier phone from a reliable manufacturer.

Hungry OS, Android is one of the smartest OS. You can save your battery if you are smart enough. Background apps eats battery. Critics are doing their job, I have used Canvas 2 for more than 3 months, no issue with the performance-it was flawless ICS experience. Now eagerly waiting for Jelly bean Canvas HD.

Ya dears you are right that 15k is more for non Branded Comp.!! but i think you didn't c the specifications!! at this price tag None of any Branded comp.can provide d specifications. if v compare this speci. with any Branded com. you could Pay approximately 25k-35k.
so isn't matter that we should not pay 15k for this. Now MM is also being on List of Branded company.!!
