samsung definitely has the better contrast, no question about that. however, if you are arguing about sharpness. you can't say s3 is sharper when it's obvious that xz is the sharper one given that almost 100ppi difference.

I dont need to wait for the Megabeast Plastic "SIV"
no matter how many cores they put on it, Sony still shine both design & durability, thats the only thing the SIV & Iphone 6 will never had

Even if samsung decided to put a lousy 2000mah battery behind 5" screen I'd get it only because of a replaceable battery that will follow a load of aftermarket high-capacity batteries.

When sony "learns" how to put a big battery until then... I may consider a sony brand.

xperia Z uses TFT in these age 2013, the screen colour is washed out, the UI is not smooth at all, yes i tried it in carphonewarehouse, wait for GALAXY SIV, for the same price you get breathtaking phone with the cool and wow factor. think big.LITTLE OCTA CORE

At the moment Xperia Z is the best 5" Smartphnone.
However, this will not be long once Samsung releases the Galaxy S4 with 5.25" in & dual QUAD+4G RAM with 18MP camera by March.

Design, build quality, camera, video, screen, hardware spec, UI, OS, Application, battery, best experience, has much accessories, pairing with other devices

its just another phone longing for attention..come on, they only put on a bigger screem, new cosmetics, and higher pixel for camera then suddenly they say that its the best phone...where is the new innovative features? same old lame android phone..sony always fail on making a phone that is full packed.
