Samsung starts testing Jelly Bean firmwares for Galaxy Ace 2 - read the full textSamsung Galaxy Ace 2, the successor of the popular Galaxy Ace smartphone might get the much awaited Jelly Bean update siib. As expected, the Galaxy Ace 2 will be skipping on ICS to get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Samsung has already started making Jelly Bean test firmwares for the Galaxy Ace...

Be happy that u bought sola.

> In reply to Mr.Bus @ 2013-02-10 17:16 from iwpB - click to readit is unlikely possible, i think the hardware is not strong enough to run jb perfectly since its processor just an 800mhz ARMv6. but if you really want jb one 1st gen ace you can always flash custom rom. it will not perfectly run but it works.

There are many build firmware for S3 from the net especially from sammobile.com other than your country IF still nothing update in your region. Check OTA or update your device through Kies or Odin.

I just wan to point out there is possibility. I don't care it is root or not (i say equal or not since you say every root phones are equal), but there is POSSIBILITIES! If you wany to root sola so it can "equal" to rooted Ace 2 and flash with custom rom so that sola can be better than ace 2, go on, no one cares. I say again what is my point from the start, There is possibility that ace 2 can do something like app2sd with official jellybean! if i folow your logic, there is also no possibility sola do something like that with offiicial jelly bean, root or not since there is NO official jelly bean for sola.
