Goodness people, it's just a search engine thing. No one said Apple or Google won over the other. It's a purely beneficial business strategy for both companies. O_O

Why is everyone (well some people) getting worked up over the products (i.e. smartphones) of both companies? what the article is talking about is nothing more elss than a $1B Deal about the Search Engine.

A $billion from Samsung and a $billion from Google - not bad. Thieves gotta pay - no matter the reason, as long as they are thieves.

If Google don't pay, someone else (perhaps Microsoft) will. And that will be bad for Google.

Anyone stupid enough to think apple or google won in this is silly. Google are gonna make a hell of a lot of money because they can continue to say they are default search engine to a lot of devices and that's a major selling point to an advertising company aka a lot of people are bound to use us. On the flip side apple are selling the availability of a lot of devices and making money from it too! Win win for both companies really or they wouldn't have struck a deal

In fact i cant understant why some people here say st-pid things , either they are st-pid or their hatred at this company or that blocked their mindes , this news is not related to samsung or any other hardware company , it is an investment for google because the good share that ios takes of the market , if google want their search engine in ios they should pay with a deal or a competetor would do , this is anormal thing not avictory for apple over android , google is a huge company with own search engine , browser , . . .and android . This learn us that if we doing agood job like apple and mozila ,big compamies will come to us asking to sign a deal fo abig cash .

Just cause samsung and other android based systems are gaining momentum it does not mean that Apple is discarded. apple has a loyal user base, end apple is stil the most valueble smartphone manufacture in the world. the IP5 is still selling like hot cackes.. 5S an the IP6 is in the coming though to 4 months... thank god the people at google are mutch smarter than its users.. if google drops apple in this case, they would lose a sh!tload of money.. they are not stupid like some of the android users are.
