Guys, BIG DOUBT. Why d'you think these phones like Micromax are getting cheaper? You may attribute it to competition, but... but.. but,

I've heard this company is funded by Telecom companies & doesn't specifically aim for better returns. Such phones encourage Data consumption, which is obviously VERY profitable for Telecom companies. Even if it encourages messaging its profitable.

Simple math :

~50ps/message
1 text message = 160 characters (160 bytes max.)

so 1 GB = 62,50,000 messages
62,50,000 x 0.5 = 31,25,000 (Rs)

Suddenly the Rs.17,20,00,00,00,000/- scam doesn't look big anymore! All they need is 2,75,200GB of data transfer

FURTHERMORE, Assuming an average geeks monthly download is 50GB in fixed broadband, All we'd need is 5000 "geeks worth" of download for ~1.1 month(s) to consume that!

Assumtions:
1) That in reality, and Realty, mobile internet doesn't really cost as much as fixed broadband lines (that need to be physically drawn across the city)

2) And that 5000 geeks aren't hard to find for the ENTIRE telecom industry)

AND ALL THIS WITH MESSAGING ALONE! Whatsay? Your thoughts PLEASE!

I bought it from M2hshop.com, they also happen to sell !
I tried looking on Snapdeal but found them mentioning it now as "BOOK NOW". Kept finding and found one good site selling it.... just 9Rs costlier than Snapdeal ;-)

do you really think everyone's gonna pay such a huge amount of 700$ (34k inr) for Samsung note ll???
For the price of Samsung note ll you could buy 2 Micromax Canvas HD and still save a lot of money for a nice b'day present for your mom.
Micromax Canvas HD A116 is a must buy at such price range with awesome features which can blow your mind off. Samsung is a well known brand and always preferable over Micromax, but if the price difference is this huge i would definitely go for Micromax Canvas HD A116 as most people will.

I have a samsung ace. Battery backup is very poor, even does't last for a day with less than 30 min. talktime.. i heard that this is common to samsung products.. even when applns are not in use.. what about canvas? any handson expereince?

veri interesting phone but is for india market not for europe.any possibility to buy and deliver to europe.micromax is uknown brand in bulgaria-europe.here we kgnow many chinese brand but this is unkgnown.

Why the price of Canvas2 has increased and when it come to normal like 10K barget rate.

and when CanvasHD will easily avilable in Market.

I would able to spend 12.5K max for it and 10K for Cnvs2.

and for all the sammy fans out there, let me correct u all. There is no difference between quadcore and dualcore as such. Only difference will b when playing the hd videos over the internet.... Otherwise for gaming 1 gb ram is enuf.... The only place where sammy wins over microsoft
1- the screen is no match for note 2 , canvas hd will have better screen then canvas 2 for sure.
2- the battery life is avg as compared to note2 ( note 2 has gud battery life)
3- the browser is little below as well then note 2
4-note 2 is little more fast and responsive as compared to mmx c2(nt counting hd)

where mmx wins
1- its quite cheap( note 2 $700 or around 34 inr) mmx $280
2-the camera quality is superior ( v good , but not excellent) even the flash works fine at night .
3- there is no hanging issue till now with canvas 2 nd games run smoothly, even the apps runfine vid 512 ram( canvas 2 vl hv 1 gb ram) the touch is awesum
4-body is good and feels sturdy i hand( dosent look cheap at all).


So in imho i guess hd is a steal. For that price.....all those sammy fans please grow up or use the phone once , i have done that n i would say from where mmx is earning the profit and i guess big companies take big share of profits.... Go vid mmx hd u wont regret. I have a s3 and a canvas2 . M nt a mmx fan or a marketing paid guy. So i would say better use the phone urself and then decide for urself. Its a real steal.....

holy crap. This phone is one big awesum experience, i bet it will going to eat the market of a certain korean company. As this phones cheap, its camera is awesum, the touch and everything is a steal for 14k or say around $280. Man i have used canvas 2 and mind it i dunno from where micromax is getting the hardware , its great. I better shell out my money for this instead of buying something dats double the price. Guys frankly the screen is no match vid note2 and same goes for processor, but compare the prices $700 and $280. Man its a real steal. I just really wish if gsmarena could review it. It will definatly eat the market of another copycat, as u can get the good specs for half the amount. Anyways for correcting the information for gsmarena, galaxy grand is for 21k or say $420. Which is not its double but yaah nearly 1.1\5 times of the price micromax is offering. Using a s3 and this phone feally blowing me up. . Even some people balck marketed canvas2. Foe a thousand inr more. People are going crazy... Only if the screen is much better then the old canvas while watching hd videos..m game for this phone. If any of you have any doubts , check flipkart, or infibeam, either you will get the old canvas 2 out of stock or overpriced..

I am only worried about SAR(Radiation) levels ofthis phone as micromax always have higher values. Can anyone post SAR levels of a116
