After the octa-core joke i really had confidence that this nonsense will stop... but, i was wrong. Apparently is easier to increase megahertz and RAM instead of inventing and making a good freaquin' phone... I am starting to hate smartphones now. The future as it is presented has nothing for me. Hope Nokia will not play by this crap war...

intel are pushing their manufacturing process further.. they will be down to 14nm with Broadwell. It will take a while for ARM to get there...

x86-class CPU's have not 'evolved', they have stagnated. At this rate our laptops will have ARM CPUs because Intel can't design anything interesting any more.

Eventually, the Ghz game will slow down and move further towards efficiency in the way Desktop/Laptop CPU's have evolved.
I guess CPU/SoC manufacturers are just having a little fun boasting for the time being.

i think a 1ghz single core cpu is enough to be buttersmooth, what we want is more ram and 10000mah batteries....and that will be charged in less than 60 seconds,,,:D

Ridiculous. Building a 3ghz chip on a very inefficient architecture this is going to drain battery in no time AND provide relatively low performance. This is like Pentium 4.

Put that behind 5000mAh battery with 4.5" display and I'm sold.

for what that?!After you will charge your battery 2 times at day...we need a good battery, not ultra pixels, big screens and fake CPU's!
