and how many carriers will Xperia Z have? I heard 85+

Wanna volunteer for a blindtest? I remember one blindtest in another forum once, all the bigmouthers like you disappeared very silently and did not participate. Scared of the truth, and ashamed to admit that you would not be able to tell the difference.

if you need a phone to fit in then SGS3 or SGS4 will do, if you want to stand out then get something less common with class, and Z is exactly that. Mine cost me $933, thats an acceptable price but if 50 million people buy one at contract at $79 then i dont feel like it was such a good deal for me.

Samsung Galaxy 3 is much much better than this sony xperia z. Anybody who bought this phone are stupid. Everybody know that sony is ripping apart by Samsung sooner or later, from TV, camera, to smart phone.

Kings are born not made. Haters can hate but sony will still rise to the top. No other has class like these guy, you simply can't cover the moon with bare hands. As for me, I can't fall for core games like samsung is playing simply because it aint got quality but respect to htc though. LONG LIVE PLAY LONG LIVE SONY.

not bad 140,000 sales launch week considering population of japan is 127million that is more than 0.13% of the population bought the sony xperia z smartphone. a few million will be sold for sure during launch week for all other countries. that is a good start for entering the highend smartphone market if people learn it can be used with other sony products ie dlna tv's maybe more tv's and smartphones will be sold because of the combo's.

This is a good step forward in the right direction. It would have been a much bigger number if they could have it released in 60+ countries like htc one. If this can achieve a target of 10 million in 3-4 months this would be a huge boost for Sony.
It finally comes down to how Sony have planned to handle things with sxz because tables will turn immediately when sgs4 is launched. Sony has to step on it.
Lots of customers are waiting how sgs4 will turn out to be as its currently riding the rumor tide. But I believe the succes/failure of sony's and htc' s flagship's will finally come down to succes/failure of sgs4. Because when it comes to extreme competition there can only be one winner. Good luck.

Not such a bad price for the UK, but would've been better with a removable battery though :(

It has higher megapixel count so it appears zoomed in, there are more pixels in the photo, but the photo is still the same size. Of course its not "zoomed", then it would not be able to capture the full chart. Give it some time to sink in and you will understand.

> In reply to raj @ 2013-02-21 17:30 from bEL1 - click to readI'm using xperia TX and my camera win S3. using default camera app to take photo will be zoomed. but you try using S3 and xperia Z to take a character in some distance. and you zoom both phone into the max then you will see which phone still can clearly see the character. i tested it myself. if you download other camare apps from play store. the picture won't be zoom. So is sony still loser? ever iphone 4 camera can't zoom like sony does.
