As for the OS itself, meh. Sick and tired of tizen, firefox, sailfish etc reinventing the freaking wheel. Do something different but functional. Gestures aren't all to a touch screen interface OS nor are differently shaped icons.

Could it be? Could Firefox OS succeed in one of the few areas that Android fails? Is it possible to have a phone with crappy specs that won't suffer from perpetual lag? I'm rooting for you, Firefox!

ZTE should have installed a 5-MP camera to make the phone command some attention, expecially that the OS is new. The 3.2 MP is a bad-luck for that phone, I think.

my friend work for mozilla told us that they test their os in a phone worth £50. So you can see that phone with low specs but you will be amazed with its perfomance. Give it a try first before criticise it by saying its ''weak smartphone''

By the way I am regular user of Firefox and I don't remember last time it crashed.
My experience with IE and Chrome is not good. They crashes more than Firefox.

I am not sure if firefox os is important. I have the firefox on my PC and always crash when flash appears, unstable. I think future could be UBUNTU linux ported to mobiles.

Generally, it's a very interesting idea that Mozilla is coming with and personally, I hope it really lifts off and gets a substantial enough market share.

I'm happy to see a phone that doesn't try to be the largest, fastest .. etc, we already have a lot of high-end phones, more focusing on mid-range to low-end phones is much more important for many countries around the world.
