Have you notice the "pink hue" on htc one's photos in low-light?
Hmm. I don't understand why you have to keep on zooming in and checking the minute details in a photo to consider it a good camera. The iPhone 5 might have better details but look at the poor exposure! Over exposure on the picture with the girl. The studio picture looks flat without the sense of depth because it couldn't expose the white background better. Reviewers always look at paintings with a magnifying glass, seeing the threads of the canvas instead of the beauty of the Mona Lisa as an art.
I just read the original article from the source.
They are very objected and i mostrly agree with them.
My score is 3-1 in favour of htc one and one tie.
I give 1 to the iphone for the low light studio photo where htc one has a red hue in the center and tie for the flower.
Here they have compared only the resolution of the photos. But take a look at the quality of the photos. You can clearly see that iPhone 5 overexposed some of the photos. (The photo with a girl in it.) In the iPhone 5 the face is over exposed and the hair of the girl is turned somewhat purple. But in the Htc One the photo is correctly balanced and the colors are natural. And the same comparison is done by PA and they have admitted that htc one produce better results.
You can see the Original 4MP HTC One photos that GSMArena compared here: http://asia.cnet.com/htc-one-v...62220556.htm
And for future reference if you want to compare different resolutions without printing them at the same size just reduce the resolution at the camera menu of the phone with larger resolution...
Muwahahaha as always just like any other htc before with image blah blah..it fails. Iphone 5 win!
ThomasCarlsson, 24 Feb 2013Please do not upsize or downsize, just compare the HTC One 4 MP to iPhone5 8 MP or any 2013 13... moreI agree, this wasn't a fair comparison shouldn't have upsized the image to 8 Mp. Quality was less, guess we're going to have to wait for the review.
gsmarena, pls compare this htc one against the nokia lumia 920
both have ois.
we will see who lies.
LoveAndroid, 24 Feb 2013Just curious, where is the camera shots comparisons for Xperia Z??Check Xperia z Review then click on the drop down options and click on the camera page then click on the compare tool. Xperia Z has less noise and slightly better details in dark scenes.
Why not compare the HTC One's camera to the best smartphone camera on the market in Nokia's Lumia 920 with Carl Zeiss Optics?
Hmm.. I was hoping to see the true 4MPX version of the photos taken by HTC One. I don't want to see comparisons of adjustments done to the photos. Is fine to be in 4MPX if it offers more details than other 8MPX. Can we have the 4MPX photos please? No cropping or whatsoever please.... We need both day and night shots please.
