Skype finally available for Windows Mobile 6.1, tested here - read the full textSkype has finally been updated to run of Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. WM 6.1 devices are spawning recently and it was about time to add support for those too. We successfully installed and used the Skype for Windows Mobile client on both the Samsung i900 Omnia and the HTC Touch...

The program is installed but when you try to call it breaks down

I really want to make video calls on skype from my mobile, what's the deal with that???

What did you do to get Skype working on your Omnia. I have tried several times and everytime I get a message saying it can't find all the applications to let skype work, try reinstalling program. Like I said I have tried several times now but to now avail.

Skype 2.2.0.45 doesn't work on Gigabyte i350. When you're calling after two rings the Skype is shutting down with an unexpected mistake. The report is sent to Microsoft and nothing else. I'm trying it via WiFi ADSL router at home. Test failed. armenmirzoyan2007@gmail.com

Hi, it doesn't work on my touch diamond. "it is not valid pocket pc app..." Does anybody know how to fix it? Thanks a lot

loaded into omnia (the exe version) and it does not work... not valid application it says.

Won't be able to get Smartphone version to work. Installed PocketPC version and works fine. Thanks for the feedback.

Same thing happened tome on my HTC Touch HD. Tried both .exe and .cab but to no avail.

I tried tou install the latest version of skype 2.2.0.45 on my new Samsung omnia but still it doesn't start. I also tried to install using the cab. files. Is there something I don't do right? Can you please help on this? It's very important for me.

I have just installed skype on mij Omnia (cap version) and it works,not perfect, but at least I can make free calls!!!! Cant wait for the next version where all the buggs are cleared.
