I installed Skype for SmartPhone 2.2.0.45 in my Omnia but it's not working. It shows "Couldn't fine all the necessary files to start Skype. Please try to install Skype again.". Any special workaround to install?

The situation which i think skype is useful on mobile phone is when you make oversea call to landlines or mobile phones. Imagine the amount of money you can save on that.

The black and white spaces in omnia are because of the unorthodox screen resolution. the Skype for Omnia was made in QVGA resolution. But the resolution of Omnia is 240x400. So it leaves spaces in the bottom or top(not the sides).

Skype may intend to place advertisements in the spaces where the black or white bands/spaces now reside.

Your talking about putting SKYPE on a phone. Isn't the point of skype so that you don't have to pay for phone. Do people actually have a local only phone plan but with some sort of unlimited data? Wouldn't it be cheaper to just get either more minutes or a better phone plan.
