The hardware innovations that you cited in your comment are useful and definitely pioneering in the smartphone industry. User’s have a preference of “What Is Inside” their gadget nevertheless. Nokia has changed the way people look at their smartphone with such improvements in the Lumia 920 but at the end it failed to congregate the horde. I have many examples of people who were looking forward to buy Lumia 920 once but curiosity got the best of them and they are now waiting for Samsung Galaxy SIV before making a decision of buying a Nokia smartphone! I certainly don’t represent rubbing the Nokia or Apple fans the wrong way but the fact remains unchanged.

> In reply to [deleted post]Just to be clear. The GSMA is an international association, lead organizer of the MWC. The prizes are given taking into account the opinion of nearly a hundred reputable judges worldwide. This has nothing to do with GSM Arena itself.

I must advise them not to use it or even touch it, if they would then they might have to throw their gadgets in the bin ;)
(no offense to anyone except Nokia haters)

> In reply to Damien Lord @ 2013-02-26 22:17 from tUaI - click to readDear sir, all this are software "innovations", we are talking here about phone manufactures, about hardware innovations, no about programs. Please be correct. I told you earlier about wireless charging, optical stabilization, super sensitive display, dollby recorder in Lumia 920. And I ask you again: what real hardware innovation in GS3?

Nice...Samsung really raised the bar on what is considered a smartphone...apple had their revolution with a new touch screen design for a phone then everyone copied them. Now samsung has their revolution with a bigger screen AND USEFUL features(smart stay, spen, air view) and everyone copied them.

Remember the galaxy note people? I remember when I got mines and people were watching me and laughing while I smiled. Now everyone is rushing for a 5' screen phone or bigger and if thats not true then tell my why LG, Sony, BLU, Huawei, etc are making phones 5 inches and a little bigger?

Bow down and pay homage to samsung.

So many bitter comments about s3. Hahaha

All the s3 lovers must be laughing at the ones who are trying to contest the result, but they know that their efforts in ranting here is nothing but futile.

Let it go! S3 won and no one can change that, especially not the phones that the losers have.

> In reply to Michael @ 2013-02-26 22:06 from ajQU - click to readSmart Stay eye tracking, Direct call gesture feature, When viewing a photo with people's faces visible in it, the Galaxy S III will try to detect them automatically (and you can manually highlight faces where it fails). Buddy photo share will use your contacts' profiles to try and recognize who is who automatically, the video player detects chapters in the video and shows a rectangular grid, with live thumbnails, The video player had absolutely no trouble with any of the file, The video player on the S III has a feature called Pop up play, well these are just to name a few... i can't remember all of 'em... but would you mind telling me the improvement over iPhone 4 to 4S and then 5? and a real one which no other device ever had? cause we're talking about innovation!!!

so s3 wins. 3 years in a row. i do not say iphone is bad or lumia920. i used them all. its true iphone is unique with apps and quality and os, its true 920 so far one of the best device nokia ever made, from camera to os. but still i go out with my s3 everyday. why i dn know. maybe full codec support, maybe display, maybe the attraction even its cheap plastic shit. i now see why. hope s4 will continue to dominate

Well, I don't see any solid argument for this choice; I ask again: which innovations in GS3? Only old features with bigger specs? We need new features to move forward guys, don't hate, open your mind and think with it!

Despite the cheap plastic materials that Sammy use it doesn't take any more effort to break a similar uber exotic superior apple product now does it, if u like apple then go buy one, if u like other products u buy them instead

> In reply to TheApprentice @ 2013-02-26 21:20 from H4q6 - click to readTotally agree with you sir. It is just they don't own or seen one, that is why they are saying so much crap. Unfortunately, I hadn't owned any Samsung or Apple device(will be getting an iPhone 4s) but all of my friends hold different manufactures flahships and one holds a Lumia 920 as well.
When he first show us his Lumia 920. We all were laughing at him "wtf man, why you had wasted money on such crap" including me but when it outsmart my other friends phones. I was shocked. The camera was like miles away for s3 and iphone 5's camera and that is why I buy phones.

Probably gonna buy one in near future or would be waiting for the next Lumia(s)..
