The point is buying this is also supporting low salaries and terrible working conditions suffered by quasi slaves in Asian sweatshops. However it isn't any different when you get an Apple/Samsung/HTC/Sony product, except you pay a much higher markup, benefiting a small group of people and making them filthy rich, supported by the legally hired quasi slaves in sweatshops.

There are many things : customer support, warranty, service center & spare parts availability, software updates, and many more. I'm more than sure that this phone won't get any OS update at all. Talk about spec sheet, recently I bought a chinese dual-core tablet for $75 . Although it's pretty decent at spec sheet, its actual performance was horrible. I will never buy a device from non-reputable manufacturer again even their price tag is attractive.

Quality nowadays is more expensive than the specs. For a phone with mammoth features to be priced this low, the quality must be subpar.

The only things that can hold these phones back are quality, durability and customer support/service. The 5 inch 1080p market is heating up. It is looking increasingly likely that the Samsung Galaxy S4 won't be able to best the sales of the S3 due to all the other competent 5 inch 1080p phones like Oppo Find 5, HTC, Pantech, ZTE, etc. It (GS 4) is already kind of late to the 1080p party.

Waiting for the Jiayu G5 myself

Paying 14,000 inr($260 usd) for this and then COMPLAINING about customer service, and no updates is IDIOTIC! at that price just buy it and BE happy with it! if you want customer service, and timely updates, then go buy a SAMSUNG, but be prepared to pay nearly THRICE that amount!! Are you willing to pay extra 28,000 for customer service AND timely updates? I THOUGHT SO!!! So SHUT your mouth and appreciate what this company is doing!

Whats the point of inventing wheel again and again? How come it makes sense to introduce a device just with different wallpaper? Tons of this kind of crap has already been made. Even cakes in Bakery has some what innovation or fresher look.
