A great business idea! People want figures, give them figures. Well, that's the point of Android anyway

However it's even worse when companies keep those dreadful conditions (think of Apple, Samsung and most phones and computer manufacturers) while getting a much higher markup for their overpriced products. If you don't want to support dreadful working conditions, don't buy anything assembled in Foxconn or other similar sweatshops. Good luck finding those tech products.

If they only used snapdragon 800 or even 600, but overall it's good with being at least the only smartphone that support 3MP front camera.

yes they will release such phones at such prices and u can forget about customer service or timely updates. i dont know if there are even sufficient sources for these SOCs to help devs port the latest OS. Xperia go/p/u/sola users are struggling coz there are virtually no sources to port JB, hard for the devs.
