I have received a Samsung I7110 in October 2009. The phone is sleek and stylish. Display is excellent. It has onboard GPS and in South Africa it comes with Garmin. It has a Music Player with a FM Transmitter that allows you to listen to your music on any radio. The 5 Mega pixel camera is sharp and does take good photos.

There are one problem with the phone. It's battery life is very bad. The battery only last 1 and a half day and must rather be charged daily, which compared to other phones is not good. According to specifications talk time of up to 11 hrs and standby time of up to 451hrs is accomplished with a 1200 mAh is possible. My experience with the phone makes this a myth. Samsung urgently need to tend to this.

Its exactly a revamped i550, but with a nicer design. Same kind of side buttons and same slider slot for Samsung charger.

second thing... first quote was taken from mobile-review.com.. so get your facts straight before you go around calling people noob's. lol wtf???
u want me banned because u know i got you beat..
last of all, u can say all that you want about that 'terrible-end' se phone cas according to experts its any good as any 16m color display.
seems like 'poor' might be as bad as that 'terrible-end' cell phone, which.. is looking pretty good going by expert opinions.
i get it bro..u aint got a leg to stand on.
i aint not nothing against you.. just stating the facts.
peace.

Listen noob, it's not related to 262K or 16M display color quality.
Just thing a bit, it's all about default setting: brightness, contrast & gamma of 6500S display driver.
Sony Ericsson just tweaked that terrible-end cell phone display driver.
With Nokia tools, you can do that for 6500S.
It's just software tweaking.
Like always, you don't get it.
Admins, please ban him, he is just trolling.

heres another quote for you..
'The 6500 Slide's display is capable of showing up to 16 million different color shades. I don't find it to be quite as bright as many other similar displays though, and easily would have preferred a brighter 65k or 262k color display in its place'.

from : http://www.mobileburn.com/review.jsp?Id=3669

thats funny.... u seem to think these are purely my opinions???

in the real world...dont give up your day job.
thanks bro.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-08-12 10:56 from nTJx - click to readno bro, i dont really know what 262k color means... as i said i aint no expert...now u answer my question?? if the difference is so great as you state... how, and i quote can a display quality be 'supreme' or as good as a 16m color display????
wait i will even quote from you...
'Win Mobile has the best rendering method in mobile OSs, but Win Mobile only supports 65K color'.
you competely contradicted yourself.

now, i've got both 256k and 16m color display phones and im telling you now the color quality/ display is better on my 256k mobile.
so answer my question? if the difference is so great as you say, how is this so??

o yeah..your gonna statement.....LOL that was a joke right? they are both incorrect grammer einstein...

The other important thing about color quality is rendering methods.
You even don't know what rendering method Symbian developers uses.
You even don't know about display drivers of Symbian cell phones & also OSE cell phones of Sony Ericsson.
Win Mobile has the best rendering method in mobile OSs, but Win Mobile only supports 65K color, & it's too bad for Microsoft.
Win Mobile 7 will support 16.7M color.
Also, Microsoft copy & paste many features of iPhone OS in Win Mobile 7.
So, what do you want to tell next time?
Why don't you give up?

Can't stop laughing.
Gunna? It's gonna, Mr. Dictionary.
You even don't know what's really 262K color, do you?
262k is just 65K effective color.
It's very low quality.
You made my day.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-08-11 19:39 from n{Qc - click to readok bro.. u tell me this... quotes taken from mobile-review.com from the sony-ercisson c702
http://www.mobile-review.com/r...2-en.shtml#7

remember the c702 has a 256k display...
'In many ways thanks to its supreme display, the C702 is very good at displaying images and photos; it even manages to look similar to Nokia’s top-of-the-line solutions on this front'...

how it that possible??? nokia's top of the line solutions?? hmm correct me if i am wrong but nokia's high end phones come with 16m color displays right??? but no,, it cant be!!! say its not so! how is this possible when the difference in color display/quality is so great?????????????go figure?
