Google admits current Motorola devices not up to their standards - read the full textAbout nine months ago when Google acquired Motorola, the company also inherited about 18 months worth of product pipeline. This included models such as the RAZR HD and the RAZR M. It seems, however, that none of these products are up to Google's standards. While talking in a conference, Google's...

So what is "innovative, transformative" to you Google? Non-expendable memory, and needing to install a dozen apps (or a custom ROM) just to plug the gaping holes in the stock UI?

Whatever you do Google, PLEASE don't let the next Motorolas go without a card slot. At least not all of them. There's a reason why phones like the S III is so popular.

Sure, Touchwiz/Sense may not be your idea of "pretty", and nobody likes the bloat they bring, but they are there because the stock UI are missing basic features in the first place.

Ever heard of smart-dialing, Google?

are you dumb or something?
The original Razr was premium and reached 100 million faster than the iphone or any other phone.
And you can't say they were irrelevant since then. What about the Droid, the Defy, the Xoom tablet and the Droid Razr. Those were best-sellers and breakthroughs at its time, and no one can take that away.

Anyway the X phone is the Razr X, it will be released in all big four carriers of the USA, and what Google's CFO is doing here is to calm Samsung down about a potential threat to their S4. Motorola's phone will come by Summer.
But it's true that their recent stuff wasn't WOW. But tell me, is the Note II or Nexus 4 really a WOW product?

Moto clung to the Razr flip design for far too long. They thought of those flip phones as their version of Nokia N series (at the time). Premium. But Razr wasn't.

They haven't been relative since the first iPhone came out, and the touch screen revolution started.

But they do (did) own a bunch of great patents, obviously what Google were looking for.

Punch, delete. Goodbye Motorola.

I agreed with Google's comment. Motorola's phone is ugly, tasteless and souless.
Google acquired Motorola for their patent and not the phone.
I feel Google should invest more money in Motorola so that they can come out common technology for Android OS based phone.
