Will see the truth in future. Makers usually dont give upgrades becouse they want to make people buy newer products...

All 3 users do care. They hope they will get at least 3 usable apps and 2 normal games.

"and the users of the WP 8 will not be left high and dry unlike the Windows Phone 7.x owners, who weren't able to update to Windows Phone 8" - GSMA you're mean...it was a known fact for a long time before WP8's announcement that 7.x won't upgrade to 8 and not because of poor sales. And these 7.x users aren't forgotten(7.8, 7.9 and who knows?) unlike half of droids stuck on ginger or worse...

seems the most reasonable thing to be done by microsoft, coz if they screwed the current WP8 users, then they can kiss their current and future costumers goodbye! wonder though if current devices with smaller ram (512mb) can get these updates!
