Galaxy S IV specs all but official thanks to an AnTuTu scorecard - read the full textThe Samsung Galaxy S IV specifications are now all but officially confirmed thanks to a leaked AnTuTu benchmark test that the phone has undergone. Samsung's upcoming flagship will sport an Exynos 5 Octa 5410 chipset with a CPU running at 1.8GHz, 2GB of RAM and a PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU....

that is a fake.
the on screen buttons usually take up some pixels, like on the nexus4, but here, the benchmark is showing full 1920 by 1080 as the resolution. that means either samsung has made a screen with a weird resolution, or the screenshots are made up. :)

So not wrong saying its a 8 core cpu.. but to say all 8 use same time is technically not wrong also.. they still have to pass the process from the little core to the big core.. during that time .. both is powered and on at the same time.

But saying it is quad core is not wrong also!.. as both big and small are part of the same architecture and function like any single core would.

After all this confusion??.. Don't bother say who is wrong who is right.. because everyone is right!

Its simply 4 low powered cores of a7 architecture clocked at say 1.8ghz and 4 high powered cores of a15 clocked at same speed. But both doesn't function simultaneously but switches between them depending on the kind of task the phone is put through.
If this succeeds in market we might see qualcomm's next series chipsets coming with a custom architecture of big little tech.

Remember that this unity it's a prototype in prerelease, understand it. The chipset has capacity for 30000 to 35000 points in Antutu benchmark test. And the gpu it's powerful enough, you don't forget that Ipad 4 push more polygons but also push more pixels because it has an higher resolution.With FHD in GLBenchmark test, in the fragment lit test it get 105, 110 miliions polygons almost certainly. And in the high test it get around 4700 pts. But don't forget it can be with another configuration, for example SGX544MP4, even at 600MHz. We don't know yet.

Wow! I just can't believe that there r actually folks who still think Exynos 5 is an 8-core processor! It's a quad-core processor and only 2 pairs of cores (either the big A15s or the Little A7s) work at any time to balance the heavier n easier tasks n optimize power consumption. This is NOT an 8 core chip. Samsung used the Octa name as a gimmick to make people think it's actually an 8 core part, when in reality it's a quad core! Good 2 see Samsung have been very successful in that so far! Lol!

samsung has capacity to produce 100 million galaxy S4 while sony does not even have capacity to produce 50 million xperia z, same goes for htc... even if we consider samsung sells only 50% of the shipped phones then also it will blow both htc one n xperia z... n samsungs products r launched from big markets to small markets... while xperia doesnt even goes to small markets... clash between samsung n htc will be good but i feel really sorry for sony... all the best to S4... n i'm sure this time samsung will surpass apple...

GSMarena should have a page explaining how this octa core chip works. Judging from the comments, it seems that are a lot of misinformed people.

A very capable smartphone who will over take Xperia Z/ZL HTC ONE, LG OPTIMUS G....etc to be industry leader of smarphone.

And really the iOS is looking like same since iOS 4. There needs to be something out of the box for the popping eyes !
Though I use iPhone 4s, it never crossed my mind to upgrade to iPhone 5. Truly it didn't cut the edge.
Although I must say I have seen nothing better than the smoothness & keyboard in iPhone. But still the price is too high when it's hardware wise the unit cost's only $210-$240.

First wait to relesse ,second don't compare Sony or htc with king of copy "Sammy" ,every body knows that Samsung use chip materials for making a flagship "in fact" a Lego smartphone but I believe that again some people call it super phone but not know becouse in this competition Sony has better shape and it's luxury water proof and Bravia engine 2, what's the best? You chosse people ,and more reasons that make Sony better than Samsung and htc ,result """just Sony Xperia z"""

Dont see any reason for the 8 cores. 2gb ram paired with a quaddie is more than enough. Just improve the architecture. See what happened to amd/ati's octacore procies. Was put to waste by the i-series of intel.

hey maybe you get killer battery time and as gamers have plastation 3 xbox 360 i understand yo i dont really like samsung cause of the build but until we see the full package we cant really call out anything cause wen you get the full package is wen you can compare two items

Now if Samsung debuts a metal design instead of 100% plastic then I'll get it over the HTC One, although since the scores are on par, it'll be consumers preference (UI, etc).
