You can all argue as much as you like, the s4 will still out sell any other android device this year by a mile, its already won before its even been revealed!
why wireless charging cause its the future i dont always want to plug in my phone to juss rest it down and it start charging yes some times i would want a cord but some times i dont and that i think its needed
i really don't get the people that shout for wireless charging, what is the point of this if i can't take my phone and walk through the house. wifi, for example u can walk with the phone wherever u want, wireless charging at this point is useless, also charged slower. it has no point just for its fancy name, i thought apple fans were in something just for its name
they do have faults but at this point ill deal with sony faults rather than sammy until i see better build plain and simple no one is perfect but ther is better all round and that the main point your right at this point certain things dont matter i would like to c better design wireless charging and water proofing they have the money so why not my next phone after sony will have everything it has and plus which i could say by the looks of things will be a nokia if windows catches up

Given there's some new technology embeded in the Galaxy S4, I think that means it'll be around for a long time. Well I hope that's what it actually means.
Most people are tech illiterate. It's an Octa Chip (4 powerful cores are used for most power demanding apps and games while the slower 4 cores are used for browsing and media stuff. It only uses 4 simultaneously so technically is a quad core chip.
eagerly waiting for the first comparison video/review between HTC one and s4
Forget benchmarks, All phones these days, are on par with each other in-regard of performance. You guys are getting too bent out of shape when it comes to hardware chipsets.
So my question is, if all phones are giving almost, if not, the same performance output. what does set a phone apart for the masses???. think long and hard
It comes down to battery
screen
software
design.
As the past would show design is very subjective.
Screen tech - no matter how much it has been said that people watch their phone directly, Horrible viewing angles are and comes in as a disadvantage when it comes to screen tech. (im watching you Xperia Z). HTC's has always have lovely and beautiful screens. Although some may not like it, AMOLEDS have their own advantages, (true blacks, power saver etc.)
for the past year or 2, i would say samsung battery performance have been better than HTC and sony, and the fact that it is removable, was a plus for alot of users.
Software, whether you consider them as gimmicks or useful, samsung has been the leader is this regard when it comes to the software iterations of android of the different OEMs
Marketing, again, HTC and sony fails to impress in this area.
Samsung is still far from perfect, they have alot of faults to correct with their devices (better desng etc.), BUT...People may love their HTC's and Sony's yes, but they also need to acknowledge their faults and stop acting like HTC and Sony phones are perfect, when indeed they are not. and both HTC and Sony needs to get off their lazy a$$e$ and they marketing their device and services, or yet again Samsung will eat them allve.
Oh common trollers, please troll a bit more!
there z a very minute difference between li-po n li ion batteries... ofcourse li-po is a lil better but it only depends on how these batteries are optimized in the device... also capacity wise li ion 2600 mah is much better than li-po 2300 mah battery... size of screen wont make much difference since 4.7" n 5" in diagonal will almost consume same power... 5" will consume a bit more but since pixel ratio is same so the both should consume same power... on the other hand lcd eats more battery than amoled... so htc one will definitely eat more battery while samsung's big.little technology will make it eat less...
replace battery is important but not as important as being drop proof
Damn... No Mali GPU.. Was hoping for that..
Anonymous, 04 Mar 2013Are we sure it will have a amoled screen. Otherwise, it is a very bad news. And what type (Pentile?)Why would it be bad?
sheful, 04 Mar 2013I think you are wrong about the battery. Long battery life is one of the features of exynos 5 ... moreDo you think that the 600 use alot of power.
If you the s4 pro (quad core)uses less power than s4(dual core) so the technology is being better so the 600 (updated version of s4 pro) also uses less power than the s4 pro.
Aslo remember difference between li.po and li.ion it is a big deal.
plastic is ok when it strong lol really thats your excuse your scared an aluminum phone will burn ur hand lol llol my god have u ever held a phone made of aluminum lol
Are we sure it will have a amoled screen. Otherwise, it is a very bad news. And what type (Pentile?)
siv should have a 3000mah battery atleast, big stereo speakers like the htc one, waterproof like the xperia z and have cpu energy saver mode again.
why all you hate plastic it is very user frendly and when you hold in hand a aluminium phone like ONE X your hand can be burned very hard ;) and the plastic can be recycled very easy
lol galaxy having probs matching htc one hey at least the galaxy camera most likely to be better then the htc ultra pix cam was not great as they said it will be
