Next Apple iPhone might feature a smart stylus, rumor suggests - read the full textAs the rumor has it Apple might be working on a smart stylus for its next-gen iPhone 6. It should work the similar way as the Note and Note II S-Pens but support even more functionality. You should definitely take this one with a healthy pinch of salt as it's coming from The Sun, which is not...

Poor Steve Jobs, when he first introduced the iPhone, he said that stylus isn't the way to go! Apple Inc. are going down the drain without Steve Jobs :(

What will the iPhone 3gs has if upgrade to ios6? Nothing and don't gain any new features from io6. It's just like useless paperweight, garbage.

First Job's said Apple will never do 7" tablet as is far too small when Samsung came up with the 7" and 7.7"..... and then we have Ipad Mini!
NOW after the success of Galaxy Note/2 and Seeing RED Apple now wants to make makes a Stylus and how much does anyone wants to bet it will have a larger than the puny 4" inch screen.
wonder Who's copying who again.....It is OK when Apple copy others to the Apple Fanboi's (which by the way is not even an apple invention but granted they perfected it, glory belongs to the LG Prada and early Microsoft tablets) but not OK when others do it....LOL!

Stop spitting out rubbish when you don't know s**t!
Sylus is different to Samsung S-pen. Stylus only working with resistive touch screen and Samsung S-pen only work with Note phone. S-pen won't work capacitive touch screen.I did tried on iphone and S3, no use.

I like the idea, at least give the option. Samsung more or less have a monopoly on stylus, would be good to see what the others can come up with.

Honestly ? I think Apple would do best to change their form factor like they did for the introduction 2G/3G. Now they are doing what they know consumers don't want, more power no form factor change , nor even OS change. Imagine buying a new car that you have one now, and everything is the same except that the engine is bigger and horsepower is better. I have not seen their Computers change in form factor in 2 years now. Comments please.

If the iphone 6 screen is below 5 inches, it't not going to attract my attention. Just like iphone 5. No matter how speedy and fast the phone is. Aluminiun iphones are too expensive. I don't need alluminium phone. Plastic is fine by me, as long as the sound quality is good, good battery life and good software, fast is all I need.

iPhone 3GS and 4 users from a long time ago - they are using iOS 6.1 - same as latest phone.

Samsung galaxy S 2 users.. they don't even have Jelly bean yet.. they have to root and crack and all this rubbish.. THEY - THE SAMMY fans are treated like rubbish. Unless you have latest you are treated like garbage. Its Apple and their fair policy of updates which is pushing other companies to update a bit more - and you know this is true.. without Apple you are all rubbish don't ever forget it.

> In reply to m@i20 @ 2013-03-06 11:49 from N9@y - click to readApple sahres are worth now about the same as one year ago.. you cant assume because market expectations were so astronomically out of proportion that the business is any way not healthy. They still show growth, they still have massive cash surplus.. the company is fine.

Its just that there are so many investors looking for a quick buck they "hype" up a company too quickly.

I hope Apple gets eye scroll - now that's innovation. PS I still remember my old HP pocket PC with stylus back in 2002..

Samsung fans should be focusing on their own exhalted company's bribe allegations and corruption.

The stylus has been around for years, I'm sure Samsung don't own the patent for it, dummies.
