> In reply to Sean Burns @ 2008-08-07 13:45 from M@Ti - click to readI wouldnt call nokia using the same design with different colours beign called different. Nokia's most diverse phones in their portfolio are the 8800 series and the Prism phones. Samsung on the other hand are creating more diverse products. However SE should learn from Nokia particularly from S60, and to create a good range of products such as the nSeries. Saying this SE has a decent mid-range porfolio. Seeing this is making me hate my nokia 6300 more.

> In reply to Boring SE Designs :- @ 2008-08-08 20:47 from TIE7 - click to readUmm, I seem to remember that for a good couple of years, almost every phone samsung released was a variant of the D500 design, and they're still pretty similar...

There you go. Sales statistics don't tell lie. SE is loosing shares. U can't just keep selling the same SH** over and over! If this goes on it's gonna be like another GAP.

Unless SE replace their design team, they will continue to fall down like what has happened to Motorolla. They kept on designing RAZR until people got really bored. Samsung kept on coming with new interesting designs, very impressive indeed. I am still a die hard SE fan, but unless the create new and really unique design, I won't buy SE again. My last SE phone was SE W960, the lousiest phone I have ever had...Sorry. I sold it after only 3 months of use and used back my Samsung i600 again. I've been waiting for SE Xperia but SE keep on delaying, it will be forgotten... I ended up buying Blackberry 8320.

according to NYTimes, those people at SE already suffered from 47% sales drop this year , and with those same boring designs, i think they will suffer more and more...

As i told u 10X before. I don't hate SE. (X10). I hate the fact that they are repeating the same designs since K750i. But if i don't like them of course i will write against them lolz. I wrote some comments in Nokia Forums already so don't worry. LOLZ.

- let's see... i don't think i've ever take video clips in any of my cell phones. I only go to the beach like once a year.
- I've never bluetooth any clip to my friends via cell phones
- MMS is a waste of money should be done via computer/wifi
- i've never purchased spare batteries for any of my phones so i dont' know what da heck ur talkin about.
Let's see. what was your point? am i buying a phone to go to the beach once a year? to bluetooth my friend once a year? MMS them which i never do? and get a spare battery which i never do?
In conclusion, THINK

> In reply to gam28toronto @ 2008-08-08 06:02 from kexf - click to readI'm sure that FANTASTIC touch screen of your iPhone will come mighty handy while you:
- Capture a video clip of a day out in the beach.
- Bluetooth the clip to all your friends who are with you on that day.
- MMS it to the rest who aren't.
- Switch to a spare battery at this point coz the power ran too low.
What do you mean none of this is possible? Now what kinda phone didja pay good money for?
Oh well, at least it has that FANTASTIC touch screen!

> In reply to incredible @ 2008-08-07 20:48 from M@Ti - click to readI'm not jealous at all! Nokia has made a move that may be seen as a war declaration to rivals Motorola and Sony Ericsson. The latter two cellphone manufacturers have been hemorrhaging revenues and market share this past year or so and Nokia’s recent across-the-board price cuts may hasten the two companies’ demise.
Reports Reuters:
Nokia made the steepest price reductions of up to 10 percent for selected music and media phones, while it made smaller cuts across the portfolio, a European telecom industry source said.
Though Nokia shares up 2 per cent more, it will go a long way in cementing Nokia’s lead as the top cellphone manufacturer. Former close rivals Motorola and Sony Ericsson have been falling rapidly in market share, while Samsung and LG, current second and third in the market have little chance of catching up.
