HTC Touch Diamond reincarnated as O2 XDA Ignito

Too damn slow and battery can't last for half a day if moderate usage so WAS my HTC Diamond, less then 22 hours before I brought it back to the shop to exchange for a Nokia N95-8G! At least it doesn't hang and battery last and is twice as fast! Don't even think about getting this phone unless you have cash to throw away!

this is supposed to be a really good phone. Too bad it's so slow and the battery life sucks. These are the most important things which this phone lacked. I'm sorry to say.. the winner is still the iphone. Nice try... but please have some common sense when making a phone. Battery life? Normal speed operation?

the touch diamond has been proven time and time again to be bad and quirky in a lot of areas. touch screen not reponsive and poor battery life.
the xperia looks hopeful but i suggest will be full of bugs when it comes out.
my money would go on the C905

Your article seems to suggest that the HTC Victor (or MDA Compact IV) dosen't feature the full 192mb of RAM, this is untrue, it does feature the full 192mb but as with ALL diamond varients there is 64mb of the RAM taken exclusive for graphics bringing the total availible to 128mb. The 02 varient is also confirmed to have the flat back soft touch style similar to the compact IV as oppose to the diamond esque back cover. Please do not mis inform people as this is a valuable resource lots of people refer to when deciding on a phone

i think it's stupid, confusing, and useless for companies to rename and repackage the same phone for different carriers. from what i expereince here in asia, one phone has the same name no matter what network you're on. hence, less confusion, less stupid-sounding customers.

ok...so moving forward (that's what you get for mocking without doing your homework)...htc is helping introduce se to the pocket pc world, which is good for both companies (more so for htc). i hope it starts a new era for SE. but back to the Ignito, i'm for some reason less drawn to it now that it has an O2 logo on it.
