> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-03-09 08:06 from nsiN - click to readdont use chrome if u feel it lags .. there may be many other options.
I dont care who develops the apps, when I am using an OS i need the apps which i use daily to work properly. Whether MS forces whatsapp to build a solid app or whatsapp itself builds a solid app ..i dont care, Whatsapp may not care because it knows that the user base is very less and hence will not build a super quality app.
U find only a few very good apps in MS marketplace . fro example, flixter, LinkedIn, IMDB, and there are few more.
Android also has issues i dont disagree with that, but atleast it has features too .. so that will compensate. I prefer to choose a OS which crashes once a while but has amzing features over a OS which is smooth but u cannot do anything on the phone.

Now that we are clear about the 7.8 upgrade, why doesnt GSMARENA mention about those phones in the article??

why only about Nokia phones, the buyer of samsung omnia or HTC titan might be eagerly waiting the same way as the Nokia user. why not acknowledge them and put a line in the article?

Thank god i sold my Nokia Lumia 610 and bought Samsung Galaxy Grand...

Now i am very happy... With my purchase.

Fcckk Microsoft and is so called beta operating system.

And Nokia you are such a big fool that you selected windows phone rather than android.

You would have been shining on the seven sky today if you would have went for Android.

I am very sorry Nokia... Forgive me for selling Lumia but i still use your E71 from past 4 years :) and will continue to do so forever... Its still the best phone ever.

But now things have changed - Hail Samsung Galaxy Grand...

Its awesome :)

hahaha... so much for samsung bashers and lumia loyalists..what will you do with them now...?Microsoft will be the nemesis of nokia.true..android may be complex but the greatest virtue comes to the fore now. It's free and not bound to the whim of a single manufacturer...You don't release an update and your phone is dead in the market.Other manufacturers will overtake you...Nokia is being taken for a ride by the Apple and MS..

I use Android since 2009 and yes it lagged on early editions of android 1.6 and 2.1 but in Froyo i didn't experience any lag at all on Galaxy S1.
You naive because i had Note 1 before i own S3, the stylus is so accurate in writing messages or drawing, even cropping...etc its so useful i even wished i stayed on Note 1 instead of S3 because of the stylus.

So keep this lame logo of yours "Android lags" because it doesn't, while M$ WP8 and WP7 lags like no tomorrow on Surface and Lumia devices and you can check it on Youtube or WP forum how laggy and buggy WP is. Its like an experimental OS not valid for daily use.

i hope nokia will stay with microsoft. wp 8 is excellent, simple, elegant, minimalist. my farty granma can use wp 8 with no problem, it is the only os wich she understood how to operate it. this means that wp8 and future wp9,10,etc will be very well received by the masses wich adore simple mobiles. the only problem is to populate quickly their app store with all the possible junk apps like android and ios did,and pay to the media channels to announce every month:"windows phone marketplace reaches this months xyz number of apps", and so on. they must pay for these

- stylus on a 4.8 inch screen...what is the use... i feel use of chopsticks to eat peanuts is better here! than a stylus on an android phones.
- you again ponder over whatsapp...a third party app... microsoft doesnt develop it... ask whatsapp developers...!
- i have been using windows phones for the last 2 years including the latest one and I have jelly bean android tablet... i know which stutters and restarts and crashes...!
- i dont demean android... it is the best multimedia friendly os available... but not that all great. It just fills space, when other OSes didnt. But now you have great options. If others want to try...thats not your business !

...the above confirms you are indeed an sammy andy combo fanboy... confirming your cheap marketing tricks! rest of all your arguments is dumb ! kindly write about android of the features which you felt as a disadvantage in windows 8. In one word...simply tell... i have not used...and I dont know about WP...and Im a painted android user and I like bashing WP !!! this is sufficient for us to understand!

> In reply to HKFoo @ 2013-03-09 06:25 from 61MY - click to readif u can tell me the difference in pixel density without looking at specs then i will be very very impressed with you.
Its not even a full HD screen, almost every other flagship has full HD screen.
As i said before u cant do anything great with that extra 512 mb RAM. whats the use then ?? Tell me some top quality apps which can utilize that extra 512 mb RAM ???? anything ??
1ghz vs 1.5 ghz ... again no super app to justify this ...if u can find one please let me know. ITs just there as hardware but no application is making use of it, so whats the use of having it ? i feel the user experience is still the same even on my single core Lumia 900 processor.

Again u r just reading specs of the paper and know nothing about it. LTE is not a big factor, Google Nexus 4 is also not LTE phone and HSDPA on ATT is more than enough for facebooking, youtube videos and browsing the web and cheking emails.

u said "the biggest difference is in the internal storage : application on windows phone 8 only can be installed on internal storage. except for that the rest is the same" .... thanks for pointing me out one more disadvantage of windows phone which i forgot. See u cant install apps on SD card. And second, for the number of quality apps in the marketplace .... BTW lol at the number ..i bet 2 GB internal space is more than enough even if u install all the apps u need plus some 200mb space for the Map of ur state for offline navigation. Horrible and useless apps.

I dont need a windows phone 8 device as i dont see much difference in them, except for support for multi core processors.
I knw that multiselect is ther, stupid kids corner is ther, tile resizing, more theme colors its seems ..bullshit, remove bing maps and include nokia maps, rename zune music to xbox music, they are integrating skype into people hub...wat for ?? .. and i know more than you do bro even though i dont own a device. Nothing of these motivates me to upgrade to next windows phone.
If this is the speed MS is improving their mobile OS i think i can use my 900 for another 2 years as ther will be nothing major differences .. lol

As i have said before, MS really does not care about the success of their products, they just want to be there thats it.
