> In reply to Speaketh the Truth @ 2013-03-12 20:42 from 7ADv - click to read"To make it more confusing, certain countries are globbed together"...that's not confusing, that's lack of knowledge and I'll stop HERE:) so this wouldn't turn into insults. If you plan to go outside your country I guess common sense tells you to check what maps you have in your phone(even my old C5 had uploaded only my country and few irrelevant others - similar with what offers Here Drive for WP now) so you don't get "confused":)...

> In reply to eidbest @ 2013-03-12 22:49 from 3VR% - click to readIf Nokia switches to Android they'll be under Samsung's shadow, which is where Sony, LG, HTC, and other Android manufacturers are in now. Not exactly an easy way to make a comeback. Besides, there's so many Android phones in the market right now, and people who want something different exist.

If you are not happy with NL 820, you should have post your opinion in that forum, which you had done promptly. But not sure, why you are posting the same comment over here again & wasting your time?

Guys...Nokia is best at producing WIN 8 phones and here no other company is even comparable to its quality. In a long run Nokia will definitely give a good competition to others with Win phones only.

> In reply to sonex @ 2013-03-12 22:55 from ib9W - click to readWell buddy, I had been a die hard Nokia brand follower but what happened within years made me shift to Android for 1 mere reason. Nokia never realized when Android and Apple took the market away from them.
And to resort on some techno front, they got Windows. But there is some news that Google deliberated didn't allow Nokia use Android and as a result... Nokia closed Symbian R&D, MeeGo went for a toss and Nokia resorted to Windows :(

Nokia can never come up with Windows Phone.
I purchase Lumia 820 last week and had to sell it yeasterday after 7 days of suffering.
I could not play my movie collections (most of the formats are .mkv)
I could not reply my client's mail attaching a reference documents in the reply/forward mail.
Could not download files from internet (except mp3 and few other video format)
Can not even edit my documents saved in MSOffice 2007 format.
There was not torrent application that download file to my phone.
Used to automatically shutdown itself, atleast 10-12 times in 7 days.
There are so many other suffering.
Buy Windows Phone at you own risk >>>>>>>>>>>>
I buyback my 7days old Lumia 820 with Samsung Android bearing 10000 INR loss.
God save Windows Phone

Android cupcake was unknown when it started in 2008 and it took almost 3 years in 2010 to overtake Symbian OS. People will always look for a change so don't bet it will always be on top!

> In reply to sonex @ 2013-03-12 22:55 from ib9W - click to readactually it is the other way around, they're already awakened so they decided not to use android. I love android but I admit my experience with even with a powerful S3 is a lil' bit laggy at for design's sake it is not as elegant as what WP8 can offer, yeah it is a freeware and open ware that users can do more than just using it, but lags and crashes are it's nightmares, even with powerful device,it is the sad truth about our android devices =(
