If you think that it is expensive check this.

1 BRL = 1,97 USD (Commercial)
1 BRL = 2,58 EUR (Commercial)

Converting...

600 EUR = 1806 BRL - EU Price
579 USD = 1140 BRL - USA Price

And samsung will sell here in brazil in 26th April by 2399 BRL.

Converting...

2399 BRL = 1217 USD
2399 BRL = 929 EUR

Traveling to USA + buying a S4 in USA is cheaper than buying one S4 here, in brazil.

Think about calling it expensive.

These flagships are clearly excellent but on the price comparison front they are facing strong competition from the existing Nexus 4 by LG and the forthcoming range of Motorola X devices, which, due to being subsidized by Google are nearly 50% less when purchased SIM-free.

I still don't get it - people are willing to pay huge amount of money for these devices (with similar price tags as for laptops) but essentially just use them for browsing, gaming and taking pictures. Companies are obviously making a lot of money thanks to irrational human behaviour.

I think Samsung should set up an international online retail store so that countries like Saint Vincent can also buy their phone with relative ease.
