What a lovely looking midrange effort from Sony. Excellent build quality with great design and huge battery! If it's £380 or below could sell really well!

To me this looks just like a direct competitor to SGS3, but with LTE support.
If the price will be right (cheaper than SGS3's current prices) this would be a killer phone!
Too bad it took Sony a year to produce it. :(

Sony are Cheapos who lure people into their line up using flashy designs. Neither is their Update Schedule up to date with android nor can they hope to keep up with the likes of samsung and Htc regarding updates. Only People who have already been duped after buying a sony phone realize what fools they have been in trusting sony with their choice.

And This is coming from an avid Sony fan who used to belive Sony was the underdog who was here to regain lost ground.

I believe Sony's phone had make it to the world is because of its design and most importantly: WATER RESISTANCE.
But since two of the new phones (SP and L)doesn't have water resistance, it would be a big cons for me
But overall, it still a pretty good phone, especially the big battery it have (2370mAh, bigger than the 5" screen Xperia Z)

Samsung should hire Sony to make sexy phone design. I love sony, Htc Designs and samsung performance. The blood is same (ANDROID) but different faces. Not like Apple, Apple remind me like a Hitler. Only 1 nation. LOL

irrelevant coz, this article is about mid-ranger Xperia SP and not about the flagship XZ... and even if you compare Galaxy S series with Xperia flagship series then also Galaxy is not better, both have their own advantages / disadvantages.

and Galaxy S series is more WANTED then Xperia (thanks for Sammy's advertisement strategy) but certainly those plastic toys are NOT BETTER!

Surely those two adds weight, not like the Nokias that are heavy for no good reason with their tiny batteries and all plastic construction.

The Xperia Z is lightweight due to the use of far more hightech materials in its frame.

Decent specs backed with ample battery from SONY. The design might be less snappy than Xperia Z but i can live with that.
Okay, this might be the destined Android phone for me haha

Obviously superb choice in mid-range (y)
