> In reply to DMoose @ 2013-03-21 16:30 from Rbgw - click to read@DMoose, The US price is before tax. If you want to compare the US and UK prices directly you need to remove the tax from the UK pricing. Which gives you $671 for UK and $579 for US (or in pounds £441 vs £380).

@Vello, Maybe you can buy one and put a frilly pink ribbon on it to make it prettier? Seriously get a grip, its a phone not a necklace and as a phone its extremely well designed both technologically and aesthetically.

£416 is a bit unrealistic this is a good price for a top end phone

I´m happy for all future s4 owners.
Take your s4 8 cores and destroy the desktop computers and laptops.
But do not take the S4 out of your pockets in a public places.
I´ts UGLY!!!

Seems the market is not impressed with SGS4. Apple has been up 5% and Samsung down 5% since the SGS4 launch:

So it is 530 pounds sim free, or 31 pound per month on contract. i.e. 744 for two years? Normally I much prefer buying phones sim free and then choosing a pre paid plan. But in this case it really seems worth going for the 2 year plan.

> In reply to Mag82 @ 2013-03-18 18:41 from n5rj - click to readIt is the same with other manbufacturers, HTC, Samsung are not updating their older models either as they are not always optimised/equipped to cope with more recent iterations of Android. Anyway, phones are old after 6 months on the market and it is not appropriate to expect to continue to get these updated. Samsung, HTC are the same and LG and Motorola even worse! Sorry buddy.

> In reply to ollyb1 @ 2013-03-18 11:39 from 3Jn} - click to readAs a owner of a Sony product I think u will find that Sony are the biggest let downs of all time, optimising OS's?? Sony stop updating there phones after a year my arc s is stuck on GB witch is buggie and slow there is an update witch Sony have put on there web sites help pages but I will have to root my phone to do so. Its amazing how people come on here and rip a phone for its build quality yet most phone users put a case on there phone so that "premium" feel is gone give me plastic over poor updates and slow out dated hard ware.

If it is anything like the appalling S Voice then you should go into app settings and disable it. I have Google Translate on my S3, which is available to everyone in the Playstore, just as smart stay is.All the gimmicks on the S4 look pretty useless and ones that are any good will be ported over quickly...
