He was comparing Galaxy S2 Plus with Xperia L, prices are the same (both are 300) and specs are also more or less the same.
Please don't compare a 300 Galaxy S2 Plus with a 400 Xperia SP.

Come on!!! People. Are you sure that the SP is similar to the S2??! WTF. How you can do it? The SP is better in terms of SoC and features, even its better than th XT... You fail people
The SP is a mid-high end phone so the price is fine

But that's not the proper way of determining the price. You must take into consideration the shipment cost, tax, etc. Prices in Eu countries are usually highed than asian countries, Arabian countries has the lowest price.

if the SP had the looks of the L with the back curve it would have been the best mid-range phone of 2014 for me,, anyhow u can get SGS3 for that price right now, so a 100 less would be more suitable, but hopefully it'll be shortly!

For sure Xperia SP does not worth $545 because it is slightly better than the 2 years old SGS2.
The reasonable price should be $299 or below for unlock phone.
