Just may be sony will review the price b4 the release date otherwise and don't think it will compete well with other mid-range phone in the market at present.

Why would I pay around 400 for a mid-range phone when I can buy a Nexus 4 for 300-350?

Man, I'd love to see either the SP or L have a full QWERTY model.

i think the price of SP is not unfair. just take a look at specs and you'll see those are almost the same as last year flagships, so its upper than a mid-range phone. its good to pay attention to every detail and then comment.

It's funny how Samsung fanboys and Nokia fanboys are talking about prices. First of all, many of them compare Xperia SP and L with subsidized Nexus 4. Do they even know that Nexus 4 is subsidized? Do they even know what it means? LOL. I don't think so.

Xperia SP itself will be sold in many countries and at different prices. So comparing prices without clear reference of the market is just simply stupid. Example: The SIM-free Xperia J is £229 on Carphone Warehouse and £165 in Indonesia. It's like comparing the price of an orange in one country, and a banana in another.

For a moment i thought this will be my next phone. But I am no more interested in a mid range phone which cost $545.

I think its pretty much acepted that 920 has midrange specs, and the camera has failed to wipe the competition away, in fact it has problems standing up to old midrangers like SGS2, and build quality wise it beats only SGS4.

Truly a midrange.
