HTC One launch delay confirmed, camera and unibody to blame

Sad but HTC is going to die. The One looks gorgeous. But why the hell don't they ever listen to their customers? Is it that hard to add SD-Card slot? They could have produced 16GB versions which would cost lesser for them! People are going to buy it so long as you can expand it to 64GB with an SD Card! I can forgive the non-removable battery but they could have at least put on some more juice into it. A phone that barely lasts a day is never a good idea.

We all no HTC makes top notch devices but they fail badly last year in advertising. They will really have to bring their A game this year to try to keep up with Sammy or avoid going under. Google will also have to do more this time around to help their ORIGINAL ANDROID and NEXUS OEM stay very relevant and balance out Samsung...HTC should be the next NEXUS OEM. If not then HTC will have to make a pure Android KLP device or a device that will dual boot PURE Android KLP and also Sense 5 or 6.

just a reminder:
technology is an aid... not to make you cool
different companies are trying to fulfill that...
so it is not right to compare one company to another, because it may have different features but in the true sense... THEY ARE ALL CALLED "CELLULAR PHONES"
samsung, htc, apple, etc. ... they are all good companies, they have their uniqueness, stop comparing, stop trolling... PLEASE
in conclusion... HTC is trying its best to bring the people a good smartphone, just give it a chance

If they want it to succeed, they should have included Micro SD card support. People want more storage nowadays, dropbox isn't practical for everyone. HTC never listened to end users.

I wont buy HTC One only for ONE REASON - no SD CARD.
Another way - it would be the best phone.
They are stupid, why not to add microSD into flagship? Its easy.

> In reply to Holsy7 @ 2013-03-20 09:55 from n{a2 - click to readYou are so wrong. IS not about delays. Is about announcing that the phone will come, yet suddenly delays due to parts like unibody and camera? Why HTC did not anticipate that in the first place?? Don't announce and confirm the dates until you are very confident that it will be deliver on time. HTC is just like MS. All the empty promises.

Man these sammy fanboys sound an awful lot like apple fanboys now....how things change haha. I love all technology and have used lots of different devices. Gotta say i'm loving the ONE, had mine a week from P4U online...delays happen all the time, thats life.

uh oh.. surely not a good thing.
I used to own HTC Incredible S, and HTC build quality is not bad. at some parts, I say it's better than Samsung.
Although now I use S3, but I really hope they will get back on their feet and produce great products again. They have a potential to be top 3.
